Why Only NRIs.

  Are you purchasing Gold from a Jewellery in Kerala, after paying the tax (with proper bill) ?. Are you a person paying all the tax to Govt. correctly? Do you purchase everything with a proper bill showing the tax and other amount payable to Govt?  If yes, sorry for this mail. Otherwise please keep quiet.

I do not fiNd anyhign wrong here. If you cArry more than permissible limits, natually government (customs) have to tax you - to pay customs duty.
escaping the same - don't you think it amounns to smuggling.
