അവയവങ്ങള്‍ ആറുപേര്‍ക്കു പകുത്തുനല്‍കി ജ്യേഷ്‌ഠനടുത്തേക്ക്‌ ഷെര്‍ലിയും...

തിരുവനന്തപുരം: ഒരമ്മ മനസില്‍ കരുതിവച്ച അവയവദാനമെന്ന നന്‍മ മകന്റെ വാക്കുകളായി പുറത്തുവന്നപ്പോള്‍ െകെവിട്ടുപോയ ജീവിതത്തിലേക്ക്‌ ആറുപേര്‍ നടന്നടുത്തു. സ്വന്തം അവയവങ്ങള്‍ മരണശേഷം ദാനം ചെയ്യണമെന്ന ആഗ്രഹം മനസില്‍ കൊണ്ടുനടന്ന ആ അമ്മയുടെ പേര്‌ ഷെര്‍ലി സെബാസ്‌റ്റ്യന്‍. അമ്മയുടെ അവയവങ്ങള്‍ ആറുപേര്‍ക്ക്‌ പകുത്തു നല്‍കണമെന്ന ഉറച്ച തീരുമാനമെടുത്ത മകന്റെ പേര്‌ ജിതിന്‍. കേട്ട കഥകളേക്കാള്‍ അവിശ്വസനീയമാണ്‌ കഴിഞ്ഞദിവസം മരിച്ച ഷെര്‍ലിയുടെ ജീവിതം. ഏതൊരാള്‍ക്കും പകര്‍ത്താവുന്ന ആ നന്‍മയുടെ കഥ ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്‌ രണ്ടു വലിയ ദുരന്തങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നാണ്‌. ആ കഥ ഇങ്ങനെ.

മേയ്‌ 6, തിങ്കള്‍: സുഡാനില്‍ വച്ച്‌ ജ്യേഷ്‌ഠന്‍ രഞ്‌ജിത്‌ നെടുവള്ളി വെടിയേറ്റു മരിച്ച വാര്‍ത്തയറിഞ്ഞാണ്‌ ഷെര്‍ളി സെബാസ്‌റ്റ്യന്‍ കോഴിക്കോട്‌ ഇരഞ്ഞിപ്പാലത്തെ വീട്ടില്‍നിന്ന്‌ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തെത്തിയത്‌. എറണാകുളത്തുനിന്ന്‌ രഞ്‌ജിത്തിന്റെ ഭാര്യ മേരിയമ്മയും മറ്റ്‌ ബന്ധുക്കളും ഷെര്‍ളിക്കൊപ്പമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. സുഡാനില്‍നിന്ന്‌ മൃതദേഹം എത്താന്‍ െവെകുമെന്നറിഞ്ഞ്‌ എല്ലാവരും രഞ്‌ജിത്തിന്റെ പേരൂര്‍ക്കടയിലെ വീട്ടില്‍ തങ്ങി.രാത്രി 10.30: മകന്‍ ജിതിനുമായി സംസാരിച്ച്‌ വീടിന്റെ പടിക്കെട്ടിറങ്ങുന്നതിനിടെ കാലുതെന്നി തല നിലത്തടിച്ച്‌ ഷെര്‍ലി വീണു. ഉടനെ ബന്ധുക്കള്‍ പട്ടം എസ്‌.യു.ടി ആശുപത്രിയിലെത്തിച്ചു. തലച്ചോറു തകര്‍ന്നതിനാല്‍ ഇന്നലെ പുലര്‍ച്ചെ മൂന്നു മണിയോടെ ഡോക്‌ടര്‍മാര്‍ കോമ സ്‌റ്റേജ്‌ സ്‌ഥിരീകരിച്ചു. അവസാന ശ്രമവും വിഫലമായതോടെ ഷെര്‍ളി ജീവിതത്തിലേക്കു തിരിച്ചുവരില്ലെന്ന്‌ ഡോക്‌ടര്‍മാര്‍ ഉറപ്പിച്ചു. മരുന്നുകളുടെ സഹായത്തോടെ ഹൃദയമിടിപ്പ്‌ നിലനിറുത്തി. മേയ്‌ 7, ചൊവ്വ രാവിലെ 10 മണി: ഷെര്‍ളിയുടെ ഭര്‍ത്താവ്‌ സെബാസ്‌റ്റ്യന്‍ മക്കളായ ജിതിന്‍, ടോം, ഷെര്‍ലിയുടെ പിതാവ്‌ തോമസ്‌ നെല്ലിവേലില്‍ എന്നിവരോട്‌ ഡോക്‌ടര്‍മാര്‍ വിവരം ധരിപ്പിച്ചു. ഷെര്‍ളിക്ക്‌ മറ്റ്‌ രോഗങ്ങളൊന്നും ഇല്ലാത്തതിനാല്‍ അവയവങ്ങള്‍ ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നത്‌ മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെ ജീവന്‍ രക്ഷിക്കുമെന്നും ഡോക്‌ടര്‍മാര്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.

ഷെര്‍ളിയെ നഷ്‌ടപ്പെടുമെന്ന്‌ അറിഞ്ഞതോടെ ഭര്‍ത്താവും മക്കളും തകര്‍ന്നുപോയി. മകനോടൊപ്പം മകളെക്കൂടി മരണം കവര്‍ന്നതറിഞ്ഞ്‌ തോമസ്‌ പൊട്ടിക്കരഞ്ഞു. ആ സങ്കടങ്ങള്‍ക്കിടയിലും അവര്‍ ഒരു തീരുമാനമെടുത്തു. കാരുണ്യം നിറഞ്ഞ ഒരു തീരുമാനം. ഷെര്‍ളി മരിച്ചാലും അവയവങ്ങള്‍ ജീവിക്കണം. അമ്മയുടെ തീരുമാനം ഇതായിരുന്നെന്ന ജിതിന്റെ വാക്കുകളും നടപടികള്‍ വേഗത്തിലാക്കി. ജിതിന്‍ ഡോക്‌ടര്‍മാരോടായി പറഞ്ഞു- െദെവത്തിനു മാത്രം നല്‍കാന്‍ കഴിയുന്ന ജീവന്‍ അമ്മയ്‌ക്ക്‌ നല്‍കാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍ അതില്‍പരം പുണ്യമെന്തുണ്ട്‌'. ഷെര്‍ലിയുടെ ഹൃദയവും വൃക്കകളും കരളും കണ്ണുകളും ദാനംചെയ്യാന്‍ ഭര്‍ത്താവും മക്കളും സമ്മതിച്ചു.ബന്ധുക്കളുടെ തീരുമാനം അറിഞ്ഞതോടെ ഡോക്‌ടര്‍മാര്‍ വിവിധ ആശുപത്രികളുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടു.

കൊച്ചിയിലെ അമൃത ആശുപത്രി എച്ച്‌.എല്‍.എ മാച്ചിംഗ്‌ നടത്തി. അവയവങ്ങള്‍ സ്വീകരിക്കേണ്ടവരെ കണ്ടെത്തി. അവയവങ്ങള്‍ മാറ്റുന്നതിനായി ഡോ. ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്‌ണന്‍, ഡോ. ദിനേശ്‌ എന്നിവരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള മെഡിക്കല്‍ സംഘം ഇന്നലെ രാത്രി െവെകി എസ്‌.യു.ടിയിലെത്തി. ഒടുവില്‍ രാത്രി ഒന്‍പതു മണിയോടെ അവയവങ്ങളുമായി മെഡിക്കല്‍ സംഘം എറണാകുളത്തേക്ക്‌ തിരിച്ചു. ആറു കുടുംബങ്ങളുടെ സങ്കടങ്ങള്‍ തീര്‍ക്കാന്‍...

Let us fill all paddy fields and let us demolish all hills, let us destroy all our rivers, streams, lakes, let us cut and destroy all forest from Kanyakumari to Kasaragod then make Kerala as a beautiful plain land (desert) as to see from one end to other end, then let us make huge buildings, Railways on air, underground railways, high speed railways, 5 line express roads to reach from kanyakumari to kasaragod within two hours. Let let us say there is no drinking water and hot is increasing to 40 deg or above then we can catch flag and make harthaal to reduce the heat and to give kudivellam.

Yes. You said that it is really a fools own country. How it will be Gods own country because God made it as heaven. Sahya hill is blocking western wind and by that getting us rain upto 6 months, the other side of Sahya hill having no rain or water. It is Gods gift for us. Then there are many rivers coming from Sayha flowing through out Kerala. It is also Gods gift to us. All our land was green and lot of forests, birds, animals, and different cultures as like a heaven. That also was Gods present to us. But our greed for money is destroyed our nature and it is going on.

To whom you making Aranmula Airport. if it to attract foreign visitors, then you are in fault, because foreigners are not coming to see our airports and railways roads, they no need to reach from kasaragod to kanyakumari within on hour, but they coming to see our culture, natural beauty which will not be there within the next 5-10 years. Railways, Airports, and multi story buildings are there in their countries. Who thinking so are really big fools.

Pls. remember that "Malayalees are KOLAYALEES". The most STUPID IDOTS in the World. I am in Saudi for more than 30 years. Every 125-150 kms. you will find an airport in Saudi. The authorities are planning for more airports. Our Malayalees   (KOLAYALEES) are politically religiously divided. Our paddy fields (Thousand's of Acres) are empty. Children's are playing cricket over there. These IDOTS are not bothered. If somebody is planning for something, these IDOTS will come with their FLAG. We have to shoot them.

Dear All, I am a Non-Resident Indian.I have been in different coutries and continents for last 30 years.Most (about 80 %) of the money that I have earned from these countries has been spend

in my country.My permanent house is in Thiruvalla,that is 3 hrs away from both airports(TVM and COK).I have lot of inconvinience by this long distance(sometimes after family send me at airport ,  I reach the destination before my family reach home.I become nervous on the day of travel because it sounds like a big family tour).As an NRI,I am really happy if Aranmula Airport project comes true.

        I want to Kill some idiot thoughts that raised from few of my friends.I have some questions to them;

            1) What is wrong if Aranmula airport comes to Kerala ? We (Central Travancore people )really need an airport that no more than 30 mins away from us.We really NEED it.

            2)If you want to talk about Green and Fresh ,why dont you go and plant some trees and seeds?.There are lot of enough place  for you in Kerala to do that.Instead of Talking about bananas , go to Tamilnadu or    Andhra and learn how to grow vegetables.Use ur muscles instead of talking.Then show to your community what you did, so that they can trust your words.

            3)Why do we need to talk about politics while discuss about a good project.All politicians (Both left and Right) and Religious idiots are traveling on planes ,not on boats.Then who cares their nice green words?

        After I read all below discussion, I am totally confused about our Malayalees.I think ,there is no other enemies needed for stopping this project,beacuse we have always enough 'Mallu" enemies whenever any new good projects arrives.

An airport in Aranmula is totally unwanted and illegal. Only motive behind this is corruption beyond political colors.Very close to TVM and not so far from Kochi, what is the need of this airport other than land grabbing and illegal land filling of paddy fields and wet land? No government in the world build or let others to build airports here and there to create employment. There is no statistical study of possible passengers expected and quantum of business expected from here. So it is simply, with airport or without airport, 100s of acres of wet land will be filled up. What we need is industries which have minimum impact on our already fragile environment.

We don't need anymore airports in Kerala. Three International Airports is more enough in a small state like KERALA. Airports are not like KSRTC Bus Stand to be built in each and every District and it is not a common transport media. Why dont all keralites and government could re-think to invest that money to make that area (same land proposed for airport) for a good Agricultural FARM that could atleast avoid relying on other states for vegetables.

Please please please stop building concrete structures and airports...we need our kerala to be back as gods own country with good climate, nature and food

Which of the Kerala airports are construction on desert?  A large percentage of expatriates are from this district and nearby districts. All the factories, IT parks or any other facilities have used or constructed on lands which were previously used for cultivations. People of Pathnamthitta District, as it will increase employment for many unemployed people and it will also help people who are coming back from Saudi/Gulf.
