[www.keralites.net] Dr. Sarojini Agarwal Is Mother to 800 Abandoned Girls! - She Lost Her Daughter 30 Years Ago [1 Attachment]

She Lost Her Daughter 30 Years Ago. Today, Dr. Sarojini Agarwal Is Mother to 800 Abandoned Girls!

A cradle outside a home in Lucknow may look strange for passersby but for orphaned and abandoned girls, it ensures love, warmth and motherly care. For over 30 years, this cradle has seen many a baby girl being left in it only to be taken care of by another mother who made it her life's mission to help them.

Dr Sarojini Agarwal, now 80 years old, is 'Maa' to the scores of girls and young women who live at Manisha Mandir (as the destitute home is called), her home and the ashram in Lucknow where she raises her adopted daughters. Interestingly, the destitute home owes its origin to a tragedy, which had struck Sarojini over three decades ago.

Her eight-year-old daughter Manisha died in a road accident in 1978. What made the catastrophe unbearably painful for Dr Agarwal was the fact that she was driving the two-wheeler on which little Manisha was riding pillion. Why my child? The question nagged her persistently till, as Agarwal says, the answer finally came to her.

[www.keralites.net] Story: The Woman Buying Airline Ticket

Story: The Woman Buying Airline Ticket!

Woman at airline counter

A picture of a woman buying a ticket at an airline counter has gone viral for a heartwarming reason.

The photo's caption tells the story a father who was checking in for a flight with his 2-year-old daughter when he found out that his daughter's ticket would not be free, according to KUSA.

"A gentleman was checking in for his flight when the agent asked how old his daughter was," the post reads. "He said she had recently turned two. The agent then asked if she had a ticket. The man was confused because he was under the impression she could ride for free. (When he booked the ticket, she was [1 year old] but her birthday was in January.)"

The man was overwhelmed with emotion as he couldn't afford the high cost of a second ticket for his young daughter.

"He stepped aside and tried to make a few calls. Hugging his daughter and grabbing his head, you could tell he was heartbroken," the post reads.

Suddenly, a stranger approaches the emotional father. After talking with him for a while, she went to the ticket counter, pointed at the young girl and said, "I wanna buy her ticket."

The agent, shocked, asked her if she was aware that a last minute ticket on the flight would be $749. Unfazed, the woman pulled out her credit card and paid the full price.

"The agent kept talking about her goosebumps while the man hugged the woman and asked for her name to repay her," the post continued. "The woman just kept saying, 'Don't worry about it.' She knew she wanted to help that man and his daughter no matter what the cost."
The post ends asking people to share the story so the woman's act of kindness would be known to more people than just those in the situation.

"Please share this story because people like this need to be recognized," the author says.

[www.keralites.net] Your Real Body!

Your Real Anatomy—your macro body!

Suppose you are living in a lush gigantic forest, undiluted by any destruction for economic development. Atoms, particles, energies...flow into you from the forest. Atoms, particles and energies flow from you, into the forest. You become the forest and that fact will be very clear and vivid to you when you can see even energy flows. You think that you are not the forest but separate from the forest because you cannot see everything.(Illusion or Self Divorce)

But the reality is, when you think, it is the forest that is thinking. When you live, it is the forest that is living. You are the forest with the forest as your real anatomy. Your awareness as living as the forest, gives you the ultimate sublime feeling, creating radiations of thoughts--- THEROIES.The forest God, part of your essential emotional anatomy has developed in you the Theology of the forest God, the Theism or the characteristics of the Forest God, the Theosophy or the exhilaration of the forest God and the radiations---the Theories or emanations from the Forest God. Faith becomes your hormonal system, in fact your internal hormonal system extending into the forest, with no borders or divisions. You become the breeze, the air, the wind, the lake, the river, the mountain, and the flora..., all of them as part of your hormonal profile. Then the question—is there God, will become the ultimate stupid question. The God or forest is there right in front of you.

The Atheism which you also call science becomes 'Self Divorce.' It is science, that is not even fantasy, but a terrible nightmare, which is making you live outside your real body—the forest. Destruction of a forest for economic development is a terrible physical torture, the genocide of the forest dwellers without immediate death, as the duration of the pain of death becomes the duration of life. The forest dwellers become the LIVING DEAD.

Those that live near a gigantic river develop the Theism of the River God, near the sea the Sea God...God and nature cannot leave each other.

Science has separated you from yourself, as you are in reality nature itself--as the forest or river, or the mountain. In Economics, they ( you) become inanimate resources. Your internal hormonal profile gets divorced from nature. The real lifeline—continuous communication with nature gets snapped and you are now the kite with the thread snapped. As a cut out body, you have to take many medicines, to substitute the services of the forest.

The University Degree-less tribal is not uneducated, it is you the MA, MBA, MTECH, MBBS, MSc, MPhil, PhD..., that is in realty not educated at all. They are your patientship identities.

[www.keralites.net] Selling More: What Is In It For Me?

Selling More: What Is In It For Me?

Ric Mistri

Ric Mistri

What are you working on and how can I help?

"What is in it for me?" This is a spine chilling question and I used to see it as a selfish question as a BDM. Then I began to think about it more more, and I discovered that I would never make a decision unless I knew exactly "what was in it for me". Why would I buy a house in this neighborhood, why would I give you my hard earnt money to invest in shares and why should I work for you?

So I began to look at how I approached each client and I discovered that I had the ABC (Always Be Closing) approach to sales. This works well but is extremely difficult to continue because of your goal driven attitude and people tend to pick up on this after a while. So I began to change my "pitch" and focus on what I could give the client for nothing. Things like competitors names, services we could provide at a lower cost, and free customized reports for each of the departments.

This was not an easy pivot for me but I managed it and now I work for a fantastic company where its core belief is to provide a service that does not cost the stakeholders a dollar. In fact a key benefit of our proposal is that we provide the stakeholders a share of the profits.

Recently I have had several Owners' Corporation companies approach me and ask permission to be able to add our information to a proposal they were sending a developer. They let me know that the key reason they were adding Freedom Internet to their proposal was because the developer asked "What is in it for me?". They found when adding key no costs benefits to a proposal they were more likely to get the contact.

I helped them with the information and asked them to especially focus on the following;

Apartments with pre-installed internet will support higher apartment pre-sales.
System installed at zero cost to the developer
Free Wi-Fi supplied in common areas
Free internet plan for the building management, connecting CCTV, digital screens

I'm happy to say that this type of approach was a win, win, win for everyone involved. The owners' committee company received the contract the developers saved 20K (approx.) because they did not have to install an internet backbone and Freedom Internet won because we were able to place our service into these buildings.

So my point in all this is don't be afraid of the question "What is in it for me?" because we all as this question all the time and we can use it to help us. I now place this question front and center whenever approaching potential new clients.

[www.keralites.net] eat or delete - What is clean eating?

eat or delete - What is clean eating?

by Pooja Makhija Consulting Nutritionist Clinical Dietician

In the language of nutrition, it's very easy to get your wires crossed. Master cleanses, detox diets, low-carb diets, high-protein diets and the like usually lead to more questions than answers. So how do you sift through them all? This piece is the first in a series of articles where I attempt to translate the prevalent beliefs or attitudes towards particular foods or diets.Today, I get up close and personal with a hot new fad clean eating.

In a nutshell, clean eating is less of a diet and more of a movement. The idea is to eat `farm to table' or to make sure your ingredients are as fresh as they can get. In other words, processed foods are off the table. You opt for fresh vegetables, fresh meat, fresh dairy, and consequently, a fresh problem: how do you access fresh food all the time?

For nutritionists, clean eating is the ultimate `happily ever after' where the freshest foods meet the healthiest cooking techniques. To start off, eliminate processed meats, store-bought sugary treats, refined and polished grains, ready-to-eat meals and precooked foods.

A more pragmatic way to eat clean food is to try cleaner eating... cleaner than what you are used to right now. It will benefit your body beyond your imagination.

Another way is to cook the food as fresh as possible. So cook food you've bought to day, especially, meats and fish. Stock smaller quantities of the same foods and make sure you use them as fast as possible. Do not store for long. Wilting leaves sitting forlornly in your fridge for days will not have any nu tritional value.

Third, keep in mind that the focus is not on perfection but on relative success.

In the process of eliminating processed foods, you are cook ing with fresh foods, and it's an important step.

[www.keralites.net] `Tak-Tak' gang that steals phones from cars targets CEO and bizman

`Tak-Tak' gang that steals phones from cars targets CEO and bizman
Ahmed Ali

Mumbai:

A gang of robbers that stole high-end phones from cars stuck in traffic at D-Mart junction on Link Road in Goregaon has been giving police sleepless nights. A business man and a CEO of a private firm were the recent victims of the gang that has least seven mobile phone theft complaints registered against it at Bangur Nagar police station.

Explaining their modus operandi, police said the `Tak-Tak' (knock-knock) gang would commit their crime after knocking on the glass windows of cars.

On March 6 evening, Prashant Pereira (47), the CEO of a private firm, got stuck in traffic on Link Road while driving home from work in his Innova. "Suddenly a man came out of nowhere, fell on the road, stood up and started knocking on my car window. He claimed that I had hit him and started abusing me. Even as I lowered the glass and pointed out to him that my car was stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic, another man started knocking on the front passenger seat window and started abusing me for hitting his friend," said Pereira.

"As I lowered the passenger seat window and started arguing with the other man, the first man leaned into my car and took my phone kept on the dashboard. I tried to stop him, but he made away with my brand new Samsung Galaxy Edge. Even the other man vanished within seconds," said Pereira. When Pereira stepped out of the car and started complaining to other motorists, he learnt that the duo had also targeted another motorist a few metres away . Businessman Kamlesh Barot, whose car was also stuck in traffic, complained that two men had fled with his two mobile phones, including an iPhone 7 Plus. Pereira was shocked to see a group of traffic cops, two police sub-inspectors and constables a few metres away.

"We are getting complaints of a gang of boys targeting motorists in the area. Since last week we increased vigilance in the area, but they disappear when police are around. Now, we will deploy cops in plainclothes," said a police officer.
