5 Foods That'll Help You Sleep Tonight

Lack of sleep can ruin a lot of things: Our mood, our patience, our focus and our sense of enjoyment in life. We've all had those sleepless nights. But taking sleeping pills is usually a problematic strategy, because they don't give you the same natural sleep that strengthens you, and they can become quite addictive, until you can't sleep without them. Better to eat something that will help you fall into a relaxing, renewing, deep sleep.
Here are five recommended foods to put you to bed:

Frozen Bananas
Frozen bananas become a thick and tasty ice-cream. All you need is the right technique of consistent mixing. The idea is to mix for several minutes, until the bananas become a creamy delight. Add a handful of chopped peanuts for an extra tryptophan boost and you have a great combination. Not only will the potassium in the bananas help you fall asleep faster, it can also prevent you waking up for no reason in the middle of the night.

Low Fat Popcorn

The carbs in popcorn will help your body better utilize a checmical calledtryptophan. This chemical is known to relieve tension and put you to sleep. This happens because the tryptophan is converted to serotonin, which is responsible for putting you to sleep and waking you every day. Since a heavy meal about 2 hours before sleep can actually keep you awake at times, a low calorie popcorn bowl is a recommended treat for late night snacks. If you want to add some flavor, we suggest some curry powder or garlic, instead of butter.

Halibut
The halibut fish comes with two great sleep aides: Tryptophan and vitamin B6. It has a meaty, gentle texture that is recommended to sea fruit lovers.

Other foods rich in Tryptophan:
Chicken, Beef, soy, yogurt, bananas, peanuts and eggs.

Mango shake
Mangos are packed full with antioxidents, proteins and vitamins and is also a natural treat that may put to bed your need for something sweet without blasting your body with sugar.

 make a mango shake:
Cut up a fresh mango and but it in the blender. Add a scoopfull of ice, a small scoop of low fat greek yogurt and just a little splash of milk or water. If you want it a bit sweeter still, you can add a bit of honey.
And if you don't like mangos, the same can be done with strawberries in winter and watermelons in summer.

Dried Cherries
A handful of dried cherries won't only give you carbs and serotonin, but also is one of the better known sources of melotonin, known as a sleep inducing hormone (also good against jetlag). If that's not enough for you, they also come packed with antioxidants.

6000 YEARS CARVINGS OF LORD RAMA & HANUMAN FOUND IN IRAQ
AND HOW THE YADIZIS CUSTOM CULTURE AND PRACTICES ARE AKIN TO VEDIC CULTURE

Vedic past of Yazidis and their Tamil connection: The ethnic cleansing of the Yazidis

Yazhidis (or Yazidis) have a strong connection with Hinduism – especially with Tamils (which locals pronounce as Tamizh). Yazh is an ancient music instrument primarily used by Tamils (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yazh). It also finds a mention in Tirukkural – an ancient Tamil literary work. Etymologically, Yazhidi seems to have a link with Yazh. Mayil Yazh and Vil Yazh are two forms of that instrument. Mayil means "Peacock" in Tamil.
Yazhidis worship "Peacock Angel" – Lord Muruga (Karthikeya). Tamils too worship Lord Muruga primarily. The custom of Yazhidis is pretty similar to that of Tamils including the practice of applying "Vibhooti" (or holy ash) on the forehead. Yazhidis also have a custom of lighting lamps (Diyas) and carrying "aarthi" plates. They worship just like the way Hindus worship – with folded hands.

Indian culture (what is known now as Hinduism) were spread across all these regions. As Arabia followed the same culture in a different form, Indians established many high profile trade relations with Arabia. India exported spices to Arabia and in turn imported magnificent horses. The ancestors of Yazhidis may have settled as traders who migrated from India to Arabian desert and Iraq for the sake of establishing trade houses. Considering that their name has something to do with music, they would have been nomadic tribes who sang for a living. The present day Yazhidis may have been their descendants. Until the advent of Islam and Christianity, the region had been fairly peaceful barring instances of occasional war between two kings. There are many icons of Hinduism in Iraq that dates back several thousand years ago.
altThough the people of Iraq may not be aware of the significance of the painting on the wall, we Indians could immediately recognize it as a chaste Indian lady lighting the traditional South Indian Lamp 11072323_881266058607844_5498549039276984011_nLord Rama and Hanuman carving on Stone – Silemania, Iraq Yazhidis worship the symbol of Peacock and a serpent guards the peacock (just like symbolism with Lord Muruga). Serpent has a reputation of being devil's messenger in Bible and Islamic texts. That forced these sects to declare them as "devil worshipers". The recent discord between Islamic community and Yazhidis is because Muslims believe that Yazhidis are devil worshipers and they reject Allah. So Islamic Terrorists like ISIS takes this as a license to destroy the race and culture of Yazhidis.
It is a tragedy that Yazhidis are being slaughtered by IS in huge numbers. As I am typing this, I am sure there would be 15 Yazhidis who are being killed or raped right now. This is the worst form of ethnic cleansing the world is witnessing in the 21st century – even worse than ethnic cleansing of Tamils in Sri Lanka.

We request all of you to urge respective governments to engage in this war against terrorism and to stop the ethnic cleansing of Yazhidis. They are a very peaceful sect with their own customs. They are dear to us.

Proof of Ram Rajya: 6000 year old Lord Rama and Hanuman carvings in Silemania, Iraq

History seems to be unveiling itself in a very mysterious way. Upon observation on the series of events that has happened over a year and half we could see the resurgence of Dharma and the followers of Dharma are getting a sense of re-connection with their culture, tradition, philosophy and the beliefs that they have believed on for over 1000's of years.
The faith of Hindus in their culture, tradition and philosophy has been so strong that wherever a Hindu ideology persists that environment has been peaceful, prosperous and happy, and that is why we have noticed that many rulers who came to conquer this great Hindu civilization in the end became a part of it; so be it Jews, Persians, Europeans or the Mohammedans. This belief is driven by philosophy of acceptance and co-existence to attain the highest goal.
One key feature of Hindu civilization has been the belief of RAM RAJYA, which means a kingdom ruled by Lord Ram, a man of highest ideal with utmost love and compassion for his people and strongly abiding by the values of righteousness. Its an ideal stage of human existence where people live in harmony, respect and compassionate towards each other strongly guided by values of righteousness.
Owing to this fact Lord Ram's life has set an exemplifying standards for Hindus to live their life with righteousness guiding every actions of Hindus. It is also believed that Earth was always ruled by two forces Dharmic and Adharmic forces and when we look into our own life, we understand that we are also guided by two forces, path of righteousness and deceitfulness.
It is believed that RAM RAJYA, highest form of good governance of Ram almost engulfed across the world where every man respected each other for what they were. This idyllic living continued for a very long time where humanity was at its highest form touching the summit, and then gradually like any cycle of change sees downfall, humanity also lost that sweet spot and saw the rise of Adharmic (evil) forces where life was filled with lie, cheat, deceits and clashes.
Ram Rajya had its reach through out the entire world centering from India. The recent discovery of Sir Leonard Woolley at Ur. Amidst the ruins of Ur, unearthed a Ram-chapel that totally missed its relevance in world history. This crucial finding not only bridges the wide gaps between Indian tradition and archaeology but also unfolds the historic bonds that once united ancient India, Iran and Sumer. Ram-Sin of (Larsa) to whose memory this chapel was dedicated must have been Rama of Valmiki. The name Ararama of Larsa may be an echo of Rama. This Ram-Chapel of Ur is the earliest known memorial to the great Rama and may have been erected by Dilmun merchants who resided nearby. Dilmun was always mentioned in the Sumerian texts together with Magan and Melukkha and it is possible that these three states were somehow allied to each other.
Do share your feedback and stories and we would so that we could reach out to people with similar revelations.

AN ANCIENT RAM-CHAPEL IN SUMER
One of the major triumphs of modern archaeology was the hair-raising discoveries of Sir Leonard Woolley at Ur. Amidst the ruins of Ur, he unearthed a Ram-chapel but totally missed its relevance in world history. RAMA, BHARATA & LAKSHMANA IN SUMER
The Cambridge Ancient History[xvi][iii] which is usually not considered as a sourcebook for Indian history by writers like Romila Thapar contains priceless information relevant to Indian ancient history. In the highly authentic Sumerian king list appears such hallowed names as Bharat (Warad) Sin and Ram Sin. As Sin was the Moon god Chandra Ram Sin can be seen to be same as Rama Chandra. Bharat Sin ruled for 12 years (1834-1822 BC), exactly as stated in the Dasaratha Jataka. The Jataka statement, "Years sixty times hundred, and ten thousand more, all told, / Reigned strong-armed Rama", only means that Rama reigned for sixty years which agrees exactly with the data of Assyriologists. Ram Sin was the longest reigning monarch of Mesopotamia who ruled for 60 years. The mention of the father in the inscriptions of both Warad Sin and Ram Sin is noteworthy and may point to a palace intrigue. Joan Oates is not aware of the Ramayana but writes with great insight (p. 61) that Warad sin was manoeuvred to the throne by his father. In Mesopotamia, a prince normally became king only after the death of his father. Lakshmana, mentioned the Bible as Lakhamar, ruled as a great king.
