രാധയെ കാണാത്ത മുകിൽ വർണ്ണനോ നീ
സീതയെ വേർപെട്ട ശ്രീരാമനോ
ഗന്ധർവ്വഗായകാ നിൻ മണിവീണയിൽ
എന്തേ അപസ്വരങ്ങൾ
ധനുമാസ ചന്ദ്രിക പാൽ ചുരന്നു എന്റെ
മനസ്സിന്റെ നന്ദനങ്ങൾ പൂവണിഞ്ഞു
മണമേകി മധു തൂകി മദമണയ്ക്കും
നറുമലരായ മലരെല്ലാം ഇറുത്തെടുത്തൂ
കുളിർ കോരും ചിന്തകളിൽ ഞാൻ മുഴുകി ഒരു
പുളകത്തിൻ തേൻ പുഴയിൽ വീണൊഴുകി
മധുരക്കിനാക്കൾക്ക് നിറമിണങ്ങി
മദനന്റെ മലരമ്പായ് ഞാനൊരുങ്ങീ
