Dear Alavi
After going through the message, I feel certain doubts,
1. Who said there is no Minimum Wages Policy or Act in India? India has a very powerful and detailed, apt, well updated from time to time, "The Minimum Wages Act, 1948".
Please find the link,
But this is in absolute for the Real Industry Standards and not for anything offering in abundance.
2. If you choose for a course which you feel your after the completion your salary will not be sufficient to Repay your Cost.....WHY ARE YOU CHOOSING THE COURSE? That is the biggest stupidity!
3. If you don't want LOW SALARY, WHY ARE YOU JOINING THE JOB? India is a country where the Educated and Qualified Work force is far high than the actual requirement. Today if you are not going to work for Rs. 3,000, remember, thousands on the other hand will be ready to take over the opportunities even for or less Rs. 3,000.
4. Remember, Because of India's Low Cost of Living Index and Availability of Cheap Labour, we are having these much of FDI, IT Development, BPO/KPO, Medical Outsourcing and today fortunately our educated people are having chunks of opportunities in the Market.
(Because of one and only FDI, we are having abundant of job opportunities today rather comparing of pathetic situations earlier.....)
5. It is simple Choose your Course Wisely!! Plan your Career!!! After all your stupidities don't blame your employer.
Even though it seems bitter at the first look, I agree with most of the points of Ms. Sushma Roy. Don't close your eyes towards reality. What she has stated are facts. The Govt. is for the people but it doesn't mean it has to take the steps which may destroy the entire industry.
With Thanks and Regards,
Gopesh P Vijayan
