Dr friend,
Thanks for ur comments..abt...oil companies...some years ago talked to a gas cylinder lorry driver...he was carrying gas cylinders from bpcl(bharat gas) bottling plant in Kazhakoottam to Salem ...They are bringing gas in Bullet tankers from Mangalore etc...and bottling at kazhakootam(near tvm) and again transporting it upto Salem in domestic gas cylinders..at the same time ioc(indane) was filling gas at udayamperoor(ekm) and supplying it to their consumers upto Nagercoil...no co-ordination between these public sector companies......domestic cylinders are of standard size ...the public sector companies can very well make mutual agreements so that they can avoid these type of fuel wastage/accidents due to these bullet tankers/etc./etc....( present situation i don't know )..when i incidentally told this to an oil company officer he himself seen far worst things in the company....petrol/diesel tankers going upto Delhi from Kochi on certain occasions at the demand of politicians/ministers etc...( my friend later left the kochi company to Gulf...and now retired...)...such are the things going on and the ultimate burden due to these callous wastages are on the shoulders of the public.............

the reaason for iol pricing is very simple. Political leadersship is trying to equate the oil prices with private sector -like reliance or essar so they can make billions. When political leadership is not keen to control prices why do the corrupt beaurocrasy. they are enjoying the chances. Do any of us filling fuel by the directives of the advertisements or sponsorship Then why are they giving huge ads - every ad gives 10-15% as bribe to the concerned. Imagine the huge amount of moneysecond issue is salary and benefits of the employees - the highest in the country. there is risk in oil fields and production. most of the jobs have risks-forget about it. What is the risk of an admin officer working in the delhi headquarters who has never saw a rig is getting huge salary and perks saying that oil industry is risky. If these two aspects are addressed properly our oil prices will come down2013/3/2 I.azpyr <i.azpyr@gmail.com>Dr vasudevan. You are right. It's sheer inefficiency of the public sector with antiquated technology and behemoth workforce is the reason for the plight of today's economy. But the governments lethargy to touch this white elephants and the facilities enjoyed by MPs (one of our left MP was spending his holiday in the guise of an invitee of an oil major in TAJ when terror striked Mumbai ) make price hike inevitable. Personally I agree with the price hike in tune with the market sentiments as it would have a cascading effect in prices of other commodities in the market, but only after addressing the issues of this performance inefficiency of the public sector.-Ansar

For what this Bank, nobody understand.Through existing Banks, Govt can not give loan etc to women?Govt is 'looting' . Latest is 'Helicopter'. Mr. Antony is helpless. Culprits are above him?Very difficult with this Govt.Regds
