What you said is absolutely right. Before going for an utopian strategy of castration or capital punishment for the perpetrators, lets change the archaic laws of adultery and prostitution. The major problem with the Indian society is that the upper elite has all the facilities to satisfy their 'nature call', can rely on elite hotels without getting caught on police raids, a car for a quickie and can show intimacy without disturbance of prying eyes. The condition is a class apart for the commons, who has just frustrations and no satisfaction, as the gap between their fantasy and reality is too wide. And absence of a suitable societal safety valve.
It's human tendency of a man to fascinate with the female body and vice versa. Its our nature irrespectve of culture, class, creed. Even a purdah girl is adored sexually in its culture. If purdah could be the solution, the how could Egypt has most number of sexual assaults.
Here problem is not with the dress code or the penalty of crime, but the class division in the country. As almost 90 % of the perpetrator of sexual offenses are from the backyards of the society, the pariah by wrong system. The cause is the divide between haves and have-nots, those who has access for sex and for those who have no access for sex.
So go for a societal safety valve like open safe and controlled whorehouses in each taluks, make prostitution legal and open more dance bars. And then the government can think about its panache of capital punishment. Otherwise the class divide deepens and the situation would be worsened, thus we are treating the symptoms rather than the disease itself. So let's go for a sex-socialism and then penalize the perverts

കൂടെ ഒന്ന് കൂടി തിരുത്തണം. ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ പരസ്പര സമ്മത പ്രകാരം വ്യഭിചാരത്തില്‍ എര്പെടുന്നതിനെതിരെ പോലീസെ കേസ് എടുക്കരുത്. ഇരു കൂടര്‍ക്കും സമ്മതവും പ്രായപൂര്‍ത്തി ആയവരുമാനെങ്കില്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് വല്ല ഹോട്ടല്‍ മുറിയിലോ വീടിലോ പോയി വ്യഭിചരിക്കാം, അങ്ങിനെ ആണെങ്കില്‍ പാവപ്പെട്ട പെണ്‍കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് നേരെ ഉള്ള കയ്യേറ്റം ഉണ്ടാവില്ല. കേരളത്തിലേതിനേക്കാള്‍ സുരക്ഷിതമാണ് പെണ്‍കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് മുംബൈ എന്ന് പറയാതിരിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയില്ല, വേറെ എന്ത് തന്നെ ആയാലും പെണ്‍കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് അവര്‍ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്ന ഹാഫ് റ്റ്രൗസരൊ ശട്ടിയോ മാത്രം ധരിച്ചു രാത്രി പത്തു മണിക്ക് റോഡിലൂടെ പോവാം ആരും കയറി പിടിക്കില്ല. അങ്ങിനെ വേണമെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നവര്‍ക് പോവാന്‍ അപ്പുറത്ത് വേറെ സ്ഥലമുണ്ട്. മുംബൈയില്‍ പെണ്‍കുട്ടികള്‍ ഇട്ടു നടക്കുന്ന ഡ്രസ്സ്‌ ഇട്ടു കൊണ്ട് കേരളത്തില്‍ രൊഐലൂദെ ഒരു പെന്കുട്ടു നടക്കട്ടെ അപ്പോള്‍ കാണാം കമന്റ്‌ കളുടെ പൂരം, ഇനി പര്‍ദ്ദ ഇട്ടിട്ടാണ്‌ പോവുന്നതെങ്കില്‍ പോലും അതിനു കുറവില്ല. ഡല്‍ഹിയെ പ്പറ്റി എനിക്കറിയില്ല. അറിവുള്ളവര്‍ പറയും. ഞാന്‍ വേശ്യലങ്ങളെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുകയല്ല, നമ്മുടെ കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് പേടി കൂടാതെ നടക്കാന്‍ കഴിയണമെങ്കില്‍ കാമവെരിയന്മാര്‍ക്ക് അവരുടെ കടി തീര്‍ക്കാന്‍ പോവാന്‍ സ്ഥലം വേണം എന്നെ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ച്ചുള്ളൂ. ഒക്കെ കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ട് അവരെ ശങ്ടന്മാരക്കിയിട്ടു പോയ മനം നമ്മുടെ കുട്ടികള്ക് തിരിച്ചു കിട്ടുമോ. ഇല്ലല്ലോ.Rgds
