Ill informed, Jyothi is a pseudo name given to the victim to protect her identity. All newspapers have created their own pseudo names for the victim. Now the victims family has stated that they do not any objection to release her actual name as mentioned by Mr. Shashi Tharoor

ന്യൂഡല്‍ഹി: ഡല്‍ഹിയില്‍ ഓടുന്ന ബസ്സില്‍ കൂട്ടമാനഭംഗത്തിനിരയാകുകയും ഒടുവില്‍ മരണത്തിന് കീഴടങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്ത പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയുടെ പേര് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തണമെന്ന് കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രി ശശി തരൂര്‍. മരിച്ച കുട്ടിയുടെ വീട്ടുകാര്‍ക്ക് എതിര്‍പ്പില്ലെങ്കില്‍ അവരുടെ പേര് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തണമെന്ന്് ട്വിറ്ററിലൂടെയാണ് തരൂര്‍ അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടത്.

ഡല്‍ഹി പെണ്‍കുട്ടി പേരുള്ള മനുഷ്യസ്ത്രീ തന്നെയാണ്. പിന്നെ എന്തിന് അവരുടെ പേര് മറച്ചുവെക്കണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം ചോദിച്ചു. പീഢനക്കേസുകളിലെ പ്രതികള്‍ക്ക് കടുത്ത ശിക്ഷ തന്നെ നല്‍കണം. ബലാത്സംഗ കേസുകളിലെ പ്രതികള്‍ക്ക് കടുത്ത ശിക്ഷ വ്യവസ്ഥ ചെയ്യുന്ന പുതിയ നിയമഭേദഗതി ബില്ലിന് മരണമടഞ്ഞ കുട്ടിയുടെ പേര് നല്‍കാവുന്നതാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.
