റിയോഡിജനൈറോ: ഫുട്‌ബോളിനായി കോടികള്‍ ധൂര്‍ത്തടിക്കുന്നെന്ന് ആരോപിച്ച്
തെരുവിലിറങ്ങിയ ബ്രസീലിയന്‍ ജനത പ്രക്ഷോഭം വ്യാപിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. കോണ്‍ഫെഡറേഷന്‍ കപ്പ് ഫുട്‌ബോള്‍ നടക്കുകയും ലോകകപ്പ് ഫുട്‌ബോളിനും ഒളിമ്പിക്‌സിനും ഒരുങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന രാജ്യത്ത് ജനരോഷം നിയന്ത്രണാതീതമായതോടെ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ അങ്കലാപ്പിലായി.
പ്രക്ഷോഭങ്ങള്‍ക്കിടെ വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച ഒരാള്‍ കാറിടിച്ച് മരിച്ചു. രാജ്യത്തെ നൂറോളം നഗരങ്ങളില്‍ പത്തു ലക്ഷത്തോളം പേരാണ് പ്രക്ഷോഭങ്ങളില്‍ അണിനിരന്നത്. പരിഭ്രാന്തയായ ബ്രസീല്‍ പ്രസിഡന്‍റ് ദില്‍മ റൗസഫ് വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച അടിയന്തര മന്ത്രിസഭായോഗം വിളിച്ചു. ജപ്പാന്‍ സന്ദര്‍ശനം അവര്‍ റദ്ദാക്കി.
അതിനിടെ, കോണ്‍ഫെഡറേഷന്‍ കപ്പ് പാതിവഴിയില്‍ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കില്ലെന്ന് അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ഫുട്‌ബോള്‍ സംഘടനയായ ഫിഫ അറിയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഫൈനല്‍ നടക്കുന്ന 30-ന് മാറക്കാന സ്റ്റേഡിയത്തിലേക്ക് പ്രക്ഷോഭകര്‍ കൂറ്റന്‍ മാര്‍ച്ചിന് ഒരുങ്ങുകയാണ്.
'ആദ്യം വിശപ്പ് അകറ്റൂ, എന്നിട്ട് മതി ഫുട്‌ബോള്‍ ' എന്നതാണ് പ്രക്ഷോഭകരുടെ ആവശ്യം. രണ്ടാഴ്ച മുമ്പ് ബസ്ചാര്‍ജ് വര്‍ധിപ്പിച്ചതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്നാണ് പ്രക്ഷോഭം പൊട്ടിപ്പുറപ്പെട്ടത്. പിന്നീട് അഴിമതിക്കെതിരായ സമരമായി അത് വളര്‍ന്നു. കോണ്‍ഫെഡറേഷന്‍ കപ്പ് തുടങ്ങിയതോടെ ധൂര്‍ത്തിനെതിരെ ജനരോഷം ആളിക്കത്തുകയായിരുന്നു. പ്രക്ഷോഭകര്‍ക്ക് വ്യക്തമായ നേതൃത്വമൊന്നുമില്ല. മധ്യവര്‍ഗവും അഭ്യസ്തവിദ്യരുമാണ് അണിനിരക്കുന്നത്. പ്രക്ഷോഭകര്‍ക്ക് നേരെ പോലീസ് കണ്ണീര്‍വാതകവും റബര്‍ ബുള്ളറ്റും ഉപയോഗിച്ചു.
