Hi, Hello,
Communists have lost their credibility. Karat does not seem to be an astute leader. Communists have
run out of of ideas. CPI in any case is a spent force.. Communism has almost been wiped out throughout
the world but survives in a few pockets like China and Cuba.In India the Communists who were more or less
supporting the Congress and the Congress led UPA on specific issues has somehow become averse to
even supporting them and oppose it for just the sake of opposing it after the Nuclear deal fiasco. Communists
must see the writing on the wall and must disband their parties. All right thinking Socialists and Communists must
come together and form a National Democratic party which will embrace democratic principles. Such a party must
be able todraw all right thinking people from all other parties including Congress minus dynastic Rulers. Such a
party must not have any place for regional, chauvinistic and divisive forces. They must rally round a credible
National figure and he should be projected as the PM Candidate for the 2014 elections.
We have been witness to enough destruction in the Country in the Name of Caste,Creed,Rreservation,
Langugage etc. The divison of States on the basis of language spoken has done incalculable damage already
what with some hindutva regional outfits now clamouring for issuing permits to people from other states.
Also why we should have more states in the name of same Language Telugu, Telengana,AP, Hindi,
Chhatisgarh,MP, UP,Uttarkhand,Uttranchal,Jharkhand and Bihar.
We need a new Party with fresh faces and new ideas.
This is the need of the hour. Will they heed the call or disintegrate fully after the next election that is
the question?
Rgds RAM.

Subject: [www.keralites.net] Withdrawal of Strike
Today morning when I saw the news about the withdrawal of the strike by the Kerala Govt. employees and the teachers I had a good laugh. What they have gained due to the strike, a few promises like withdrawal of action against striking employees etc. They had no choice, due to the "Kalolsavam" starting today. If the Govt. manages to conduct it successfully in spite of their strike, it would have been enough to prove that their strike was a failure. On the other hand, if they manage to sabotage the "Kalolsavam" resorting to violence , they would have faced the wrath of the whole student community, their parents the whole of sensible Keralites and even their own party cadre that they have targeted the children of the poor and the middle class, who study in aided and government schools. So they tried to get it postponed, but Government was wise enough to see through their game and refused to postpone it. Then they had no choice but to resort to begging to the Chief Minister to call them for discussions to withdraw the strike and save their face. . Mr. K.M. Mani took pity on them and obliged and the strike was withdrawn; but the strike leaders still say shamelessly that the agitation will continue till the participatory pension is withdrawn!!!!!!!. Poor souls, they have to convince their supporters that they are not dead but alive though on ventilator.

People like leftist leaders who are not literate or jobless or want to destabilise the government speak thro their constant companion the microphone and idiots -supposed to be the teachers, listen to them. That is the tragedy of Kerala State.I wish the police used cowdung water in their water cannons on the protesters for a change.
