Difficult to describe in poetry or prose
As a tribute - I attempt to write this
To revere "Free India" - your wish
Indian National Congress President
'Purna Swaraj' a dream in you resident
Before your role in Azad Hind Fauzi,
Went to Soviet Union, Japan and Germany-Nazi
You did proud Indian National Army
Strength of British in India harming
INA – initially founded by Mohan Singh
You reorganized and strengthened its wings
Formed with Indian Nationalists, prisoners of war,
Plantation workers of Malaya, Singapore and more
Army of 'The Provincial Government of Free India'
Fought against British in Burma, Imphal and Kohima
Even formed Rani Jhansi Women's Regiment
The concept in army today settled as sediment
Indian Independence you fought for
Early 1940s, at onset of Second World War
Before went to jail several times
Your patriotism we need to chime
Indian Independence was your mission
Today we are thankful and salute your vision
Indian National Army
