Dear Member,

ECNR is Emigration Clearance Not Required..

This was stamped on Passports on the last few pages if the issuing authorities feel that ECNR is not required

If not stamped then before leaving we have to go to passport office and get it stamped.

But this rule was changed and I am not aware from what date this new rule is effective.

Presently if there is no ECNR stamp in ur passport then do not worry there should be no problem in airport customs.

So please go to Passport office and check with the emigration officer there.If u have ur SSLC/DEGREE certificate pls take alongwith u.
