The cannonball was misfired during the filming of an episode of the Discovery Channel show 'MythBusters' at the 
Alameda County Bomb Disposal Range. Sheriff's spokesman JD Nelson told a local paper that no one was injured 
and the home's residents didn't even wake up until the dust was settled literally on top of them.
Rescue workers use ropes to evacuate people after a fire broke at a hospital, in Kolkata, India, on Friday. 
The fire swept through the hospital trapping many people and sending emergency workers scrambling to evacuate
 patients and medical staff from the smoke-filled building.
North Lanarkshire Council Workers clearing snow from Lorne Gardens Sheltered Housing in Scotland 
after six inches of snow fell on Sunday night and Monday.
An image released by NASA shows Kepler-22b, a planet known to comfortably circle in the habitable zone of a sun-like star.
 It is the first planet that NASA's Kepler mission has confirmed to orbit in a star's habitable zone - the region around a star where liquid water,
 a requirement for life on Earth, could persist. NASA has found the new planet outside our solar system that's eerily similar to Earth in key aspects. 
Scientists say the temperature on the surface of the planet is about a comfy 72 degrees. Its star could almost be a twin of our sun.
 It likely has water and land.
Police officers investigate damaged Ferrari cars at the site of a traffic accident on the Chugoku Expressway in Shimonoseki,
 southwestern Japan. Thirteen sports cars, including eight Ferraris, a Lamborghini and two Mercedes-Benz, were involved in the accident,
 slightly injuring 10 people.
To celebrate the launch of the Disneyland Paris 20th Anniversary brochure, 
world-leading paper artist Paul Jackson unveiled an origami sculpture of 
Sleeping Beauty Castle made out of brochures at St Pancras International station, London. 
The 3m-high structure took three weeks to build and over 50,000 folds of paper to create.

The fluffy tan Shiba-mix dog from Tokyo, Japan, was recognized as the world's oldest living dog
 until he died on Monday after suddenly falling ill and refusing to eat or go on his morning walk.
 Pusuke died at the age of 26 years and eight moths.

and due to the abnormal weather conditions across the country the cost of feeding the animals has gone up.
Seamen are greeted by their families after the HMS Ocean returned to the UK after a seven and a half months deployment.
 A viral video of their Chrismas cover 'All I want for Christmas' took the Web by storm after it racked up over a million views.
