Artist Subrata Gangopadhyay was born in India in 1959, in the city of Calcutta. He graduated from the College of Arts and for many years considered the leading master of Indian painting.

The artist is known for a series of paintings that Subrata Gangopadhyay called "Harmony rhythms."
