It is very pathetic to see comments regarding Malala.  Please be informed the following.

 

Malala hails from a region where Taliban has ultimate power. Recent news says that polio vaccination in Pakistan has be stopped due to Taliban threat.

 

What she has done is great (at least for girls of her age who are denied of basic freedom - freedom of education).

 

Just look around us, we can find Talibans among us (not allowing girls to get proper / necessary education, forcing them to get married before 18 - as stipulated by Indian Law) etc etc. in the name of RELIGION, CASTE, CREED, CULTURE etc. etc. We have cases where girls were beaten, killed saying that she is/was in love with boy of other religion / caste etc.

 

Malala have the guts to say that they are wrong. What about the girls in India??????

Dear All

Discussions on Malala started with one person underrating Malala with a particular mind set. Now Mr. Aggarwal is doing the same with a different mind set. One has to look at Malala without any prejudice, either sectarian or religious. She has done some thing which other girls of her age would not have dared to do; opposing Taliban in the matter of education of girls in their fiefdom.  So many girls from India and abroad may obtain awards for excellence in studies or for their intelligence, but none of these achievements can be compared to what Malala did.

Such type of many Girls  are in India also, recently one of the girl from Meerut (UP) had received excellence award only yesterday on CNBC Aawaj TV Chanel, Malala in not a special one. We should understand the gravity of Nobel Prize.

Malala is not to be treated as a simple girl; she represents the fight of the girls of Pakistan, who are being denied education by the fundamentalists.

Malala is OK, But she does not deserve a  Nobel Prize. How can we give a prizeto Malala, that was earlier won by  Great Mother Theresa and other dignitaries. If the commitee select Malala then it will be a big blow to Nobel Prize. People will lose their image about Nobel Prize.
