A red-backed sea eagle became entangled on overhead power lines on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, because of a fishing hook and nylon line embedded in its talon. After passers-by spotted the stricken bird, a four-hour rescue operation took place and the bird was taken to the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital.
