[www.keralites.net] Enquiry-Duty on gold ornaments......!

 

Dear friends,
My daughter,at the time of leaving India in 2009 to England ,was not asked to declare any
details of the gold ornaments she was wearing(approx.120 gms),by the airport/immigration
authorities.Now she is comming on a short visit wearing the same ornaments.It is heard
that the custom authorities are now levying some duty from people comming to India
who wear gold ornaments.
Kindly advise me the details
