REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Education: Technical / or Secondary  School certificate  and have exposure in the related field of work. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years working experience or any equivalent position in similar field. A previous experience in packaging or other manufacturing operations is an advantage. Specific Knowledge: Have the sense of responsibility to accomplish tasks without supervision  and have excellent observation skills to prevent major bottlenecks, out-of-quality situations & production line problems Competencies: Complete and thorough knowledge about the products. High knowledge in electro mechanical principles to operate mass production machines. Responsibilities ·            Perform the packaging operation the product in accordance with product packaging specification that allows the product efficient storage and  shipment. ·            Start packaging and filling products by engaging the controls. ·            Sort products for packaging and filling machine operation. ·            Inspect in-progress packaging to ensure consistent quality and remove defective products and packaging materials in the process. ·            Segregate finished packaged items from machine that conform to specification and separate rejected items ·            Monitor packaging and filling operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products in accordance to standards. ·            Replenish packaging materials like wrapping paper, plastic sheets and labeling systems to include ink, glue and paper. ·            Conduct inventory count on finished and rejected packaged items. ·            Accomplish other related work as required by his superior.
