Will You Finish?

It doesn't take a lot of effort to start things – a diet, school, a family.
Starting is easy. Finishing is what can be difficult.
The question is not, 'Will you start?.' but 'Will you finish?.'
Many people start off well. They have big dreams. They're excited about their futures.
But overtime they have setbacks, get discouraged and think negative thoughts;
What's the use. It's taking too long. It will never work out.
God is called ,'the author and finisher of our faith.'
He will not only give you the grace to start. He will give you the grace to finish.
Apply the Word of God to your life, remind yourself,
I was not created to give up!. I was not created to quit!. I was created to finish!.
Hebrews 4:12
'For the word of God is alive and powerful.
'For the word of God is alive and powerful.
It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword.'
The Word of the Lord is powerful and living.
Never underestimate its power when applied to your life.

It has the ability to bring life and cause change.
So take His word and apply it to your life each day.

The enemy, satan, was fine when you got started. He was fine when you were far from finishing.
No big deal. He thought you would get discouraged and give up after the first few difficulties.
But instead you kept pressing forward, thanking God that He is in control and that
no weapon
that came against you would prosper.

Lord, I receive Your living and powerful Word into my life today.
I pray that my life will be changed in response to Your Word.
