Megan and Ben shared a perfect winter day in Florida for their holiday inspired wedding at Bella Collina. Drawing from Megan's favorite holiday, (Christmas), they incorporated hues of sage and forest green with a classic black and white. Gold accents added to the holiday vibe as Megan walked down the aisle to a classical instrumental rendition of her favorite Christmas song. One of her favorite details was her custom hand-painted shoes, which she had made to reflect her favorite movie, Cinderella. They were painted with Megan and Ben's names and their wedding date, so she can display them later.
We adore the rustic style of the venue alongside the couple's simple color scheme and elegant greenery. Some favorite shots of photographer Kristen Weaver Photography are the ones taken at the 18th hole. And, due to our sweet-tooths as well, we love that the couple decided to have a dessert at their reception. Yum!
How they got engaged:
Megan and Ben met in high school while the two were working at a local pet store. Fast forward a few years to their second anniversary, where the couple celebrated at Epcot. Ben made a reservation at her favorite restaurant there, Le Chefs de France. Megan said that Ben let her order two desserts, so she knew something was up! Ben walked Megan over to the English gardens, a place she adores, which is where he got down on one knee and proposed!Honeymoon
The couple spent their honeymoon at Disney for a few nights, and then headed to Georgia to stay at the Ritz Carlton Lake Oconee.Photographer: Kristen Weaver Photography | Event Venue: Bella Collina | Floral Designer: Blossoms-arrangements of distinction | Hair Stylist: LeJeune Hair and Makeup Artistry | DJ: Our DJ Rocks | Reception Venue: The Club at Bella Collina | Bridesmaid Store: The Dessy Group | Cake Designer: Two Sweets Bake Shop | Paper Props: Wedding Paper Divas | Dress Designer: Wtoo By Waters | Submitted via Two Bright Lights
