Most of e- commerce companies resort to this tactics, either bluff or quote some fine print. I suggest the following. Existing laws and consumer courts take time for redress. The elders are physically weak to attend to court while youngsters do not have have much time for the activities. If the loss is less than the cost of recovering the loss, they ignore and bear the loss. This suits the e-commerce industry. They accumulate substantial amounts in this way. Laws should be stringent. The government should come out with a heavy hand (Like Magie) to curb such activities.
