"The research found that men who had themselves suffered violence in childhood or sexual abuse were more likely to have committed rape.
Lead researchers, Professor Rachel Jewkes said that the mental health of those who committed the offence, showed high prevalence of post traumatic stress disorder including uncontrollable aggression, the disruption of normal social relations and relations in the family, the report added. (ANI)"
