Re: [www.keralites.net] Gmail tapping

Usually this happens when you open email client application on your laptop or desktop and leave your work place without locking the desktop or log out from your email account just for a cup of coffee or an internal meeting. Someone can mention another email id in your mail settings to forward all the incoming emails to that second email id.

Otherwise people create Gmail LIKE web page which will be mistaken considered as Gmail page and type your password which will be forwarded to a remote identity thief.

Thirdly there are key logger applications which can give you the log of all keys you typed and all the programs you opened. This log could be kept in the same machine or could be emailed to the identity thief's email id.

So keep your desktop locked whenever you leave your desk. Also check the URL before type any information in a web page.

It is always better to keep an Anti Virus + Internet Security application in your system; even though it affects the performance.

Otherwise it is not so easy to break or hack Google security.
