As per the news report appeared today,i.e.on the 12th July,2013, in the vernacular Gujarati Newspaper "SANDESH", between the years 2002 and 2006, there have been 20 'fake encounters' killings, including that one of a KERALITE Mr.Parnesh Pillai alias Javed Amjad whose father has been crying foul during his recent visit to Gujarat regarding the brutal murder of his son by the Gujarat Police. Detailed modus operandi of the fake encouner killings of Mr.Parnesh Pillai and his companion Ishrat Jehan, stated to have been revealed by one of the Police Inspectors Shri.K.M. Waghela, has been reported on page no.16 of the "Sandesh" newspaper on 12.7.2013. Perhaps, some of the friends staying in Gujarat and blindly praising Shri.Narendra Modi, would take some time to read such reports and ponder over as to how senior IPS Officers s/shri.PP Pande, Addl.DGP.,; D.G. Vanzara, DIG.,; Tarun Barot, ACP.,; Narendra Amin, ACP., and scores of other policemen been charged with murder of several innocent citizens of this country under the guise of so-called threat to the life of a single individual ? The police force who is meant to protect and safeguard the precious lives and properties of citizens of the country has been deployed to eliminate, that too, BRUTALLY AND MERCILESSLY, the lives of innocent people ! No amount of "development" or progress can justify such dastardly acts heinous crimes.
Perhaps, rather than going by the report of a sight-seeing visitor like Dr.George, one would justified to rely upon the well known views expressed by a bold Keralite IPS Officer Shri.R. Sreekumar, who has spent his entire service in Gujarat cadere and who is still cooling down the pain of injustice meted out to him by the Gujarat administration for not deviating from his principled stand in the larger public interest. Why a large number of senior Gujarat Police Officers, including some of the above named ones, are presently resting in different jails in different parts of the country is a question to be answered ? Perhaps unless one experiences the pain and anguish of the parents and other family members of those killed in such 'fake' encounter killings, one will be tempted to gloss over the same ! Of course, I have nothing personal against anyone nor have I any political inclinations, but the gravity of the offences deserves to be viewed from a proper perspective.

We may not have Hartals in Gujarat, but we are number one in fake encounters .Zahira once spoke the truth about what happened to her family in Baroda during Gujarat riots , then she was lured by Modi men to become a hostile witness and she fell for it..Today she is cooling her heels in Jail.Where is her saviour ,Modi?Any one who speaks against Modi or govt just vanishes!
