Planning Engineer

Responsibilities:
To review/issue weekly work orders and verifies that the work orders scheduled by supervisors/engineers in System for different services have been scheduled according to their priorities and resources availability.
To monitor and analyze major shutdown activities status on daily basis, and emphasizing to schedule/execute critical which could have impact on asset and services downtime.
... To prepare, compile and issue various reports e.g. status reports, weekly and monthly department report, performance indices report, backlog/statistics reports etc.
To be familiar and aware about store procedures and support him for any problem to solve.
To comply with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies and procedures.

Main challenges:

To improve the awareness and understanding of the system functions so that current problems of under utilization are cured and productivity is improved.

Qualifications:

Required:
Bachelors degree from a recognized university preferably in engineering.
A minimum of four years of working experience in a maintenance industry.
Expertise and experience in oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
Knowledge of database reporting and reporting tools.
Strong communication skills both written and oral
Ability to work and operate in team environment

Preferable:
Knowledge of project planning related processes.
Sound experience and knowledge of inventory management.
Knowledge of various stores related processes.

Position is in Riyadh and Jeddah

Planning Operator

Responsibilities:
Post feedbacks received from engineers for various kinds of workorders to the system.
Monitor/manage the day to day Project activities done in the system.
... To run various reports e.g. status reports, weekly and monthly department report, performance indices report, backlog/statistics reports etc.
Update various data provided by the engineers for assets, persons, locations, specifications, attachments to the system.
Manage Planning documentation like work orders hard copy after closer of the workorder.
Carry out the tasks assigned by the Planning engineer.
To comply with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Required:
High school or Diploma.
A minimum of one year of working experience in a construction project.
Expertise in MS Access, Excel, Word and Visio.
Strong communication skills both written and oral.
Ability to work and operate in team environment.

Preferable:
Knowledge of project planning related processes.
Knowledge inventory management.
