India is going to lag behind as long as we look to our past glories instead of to our future possibilities.
India is going to suffer as long as we give priority to outdated slogans of nationalism and patriotism instead of exploiting the possibilities of globalism.
We are a society with our sentiments still in the agricultural mindset and our way of life in a modern setting. This lack of synchronization between our mindset and our realities are not going to take us anywhere.
Unless we change our mindset from what it was 100-1000 years ago we are not going to improve. 
The greatest advantage China has is that Communism destroyed religion there. So they have been able to adopt fast to modern realities while we are still fixated on our imagined glories of the past.
We have to change our mental infrastructure if we are to catch up with China or the West.

Over a Billion People live within 500 km of Himalayas to be DEVELOPED with CLEAN ENVIRONMENT – Fast Railway Network and Safe Housing & Tourism Infrastructure. Switzerland, half of Nepal has 550 Dams, Japan has over 3000 Dams – Himalaya Region very few Multipurpose STORAGE Dams – Bhakra, Pong, Thein, Tarbela, Magla, Tehri, rest are mainly Run-Of River type which partially utilize Site Potential that too when Water Flows in Rivers. JAPAN has 20 GW Storage Dams plus 40 GW Pump-storage Dams.    

 

I was introduced to Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dehradun, Mussoorie in 2006 by my dear friend.

When Nepal PM Prachanda visited India – 'I delivered a Note to him Regarding 80,000 MW Hydro Power Development in Nepal, India to buy all surplus power to pay for the Cost of Construction, Flood Protection, Lake Tourism, Irrigation in Nepal & India, Bangladesh, Clean Pollution Free Drinking supply were to be additional benefits.'

The total results I have to show for my efforts is big Zero, yawns and ridicule.

My thought is that we have to be extremely alert and ban all their unfair practices, ban polygamy, control their politically motivated large families.

Declaring Hindu Rastriya is impractical and will cause many more problems than it will solve.

Governance of any country is based on the Constitution of that  country. BJP/NDA can not deviate from the Constitution of India. Amendment of the Constitution is not that easy. Even BJP manifesto no where says about Hindu Rashtra in Indai. Strengthening Hindu Dharma is a social subject and not a poltical subject in India. Before any social thought of Hindu Rashtra, we need to strengthen Hindu Dharma by reviving Vedas truthfully. In the absence of Vedas Hindus are getting divided into sub religions, sects, cults, gurudom and formimg close societies. I find there are many Hindus who are not keen to revive Vedas.then how do we form Hindu Rashra?
There should be something common for Hindu Rashra even as a social thought.
Our Constitution does not prohibit strngthening of any religion/Dharma but there is no move any where to strengthen Hindu Dharma and merge Hindu close societies in to one Hindu Dharma Open Society. Our Constituion does not prohibit merging of Hindu close societies into one Hindu Open Society. I do not know any Social Hindu Dharma group is pursuing this matter.. We need not bouther BJP/NDA being political parties on this subject. For them governance is for Citizens of India and not for any religion of India.

The first thing is you have to publish your manifesto - What 
is your idea of a Hindu rashtra, what is the social contract
offered to all its constituents, who falls out of the definition
of Hindu etc.  People are afraid that if they opt for a Hindu 
rashtra, untouchables will get a raw deal.  So first you have
to clear all your positions including your political philosophy,
economic ideology, aims where you want to take the society etc.
