Nepal, Himalayas 'Many Switzerlands' of India in 20-30 Yrs

Though our people were United Against BRITISH RULE but were divided after British Left. Our first big loss was Tibet – Source of our Rivers, We Failed to Jointly Develop Our Rivers.
In 1990 at a Canada-India event I observed 'India Contribution to World GDP is 2%, India Should Target 98% of Rest of the World GDP, Develop Products for the World Market.'
1990 is Important – Then Per Capita GDP of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka was more or less same as China. In last 20 years We Lost Our Way – Most of the World wanted to INVEST in India and this in many ways SAARC Region as well – but first Rahul Bajaj in 1996 and later Ambani-Adani Sabotaged Foreign Investment – India now lags behind China by $15 Trillion Annual GDP – and Credit Suisse data for 2019 show – Wealth of China at $63.8 Trillion, India $12.6 Trillion, Bangladesh $697b, Pakistan $465b, Sri Lanka $267b and Nepal $68b – China in Wealth is
5 Times of India, 100 Times of Bangladesh, 150 Times of Pakistan,
250 Times of Shri Lanka and 1000 Times of Nepal in Wealth.
Even India has $70b Trade Deficit with China – Rest of SAARC Only Getting China 'AID' not Equal Partner – FREE TRADE is POSSIBLE in SAARC Region.
I regret that India had failed to Lead SAARC region to achieve $500b Trading Block, 2,00,000 Hydro Power, 50% of Oil & Gas Needs Met By Pipelines, Tourism along 2000 km Long Himalayas, Industrial & Food Products, Textiles, Auto Industry, Railways, Power Generation Transmission and Distribution. But most IMPORTANT – CLEANEST REGION Like Switzerland. Even more IMPORTANT – Claiming TIBET as part our own region, A billion SAARC region will have Tourism places in Tibet as well.
Over a Billion People live within 500 km of Himalayas to be DEVELOPED with CLEAN ENVIRONMENT – Fast Railway Network and Safe Housing & Tourism Infrastructure. Switzerland, half of Nepal has 550 Dams, Japan has over 3000 Dams – Himalaya Region very few Multipurpose STORAGE Dams – Bhakra, Pong, Thein, Tarbela, Magla, Tehri, rest are mainly Run-Of River type which partially utilize Site Potential that too when Water Flows in Rivers. JAPAN has 20 GW Storage Dams plus 40 GW Pump-storage Dams.
I was introduced to Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dehradun, Mussoorie in 2006 by my dear friend.
My first blog when I was moderating few Human Rights Groups was that – 'Uttarkhand is Developing Unsafe Tourism Infrastructure, Mussoorie is too congested, has only one narrow access road,-- we spend the money for 'Samosa and Jalebi' snacks and similar desi foods' and the need to develop Tourism Infrastructure along entire Himalayas.
When Nepal PM Prachanda visited India – 'I delivered a Note to him Regarding 80,000 MW Hydro Power Development in Nepal, India to buy all surplus power to pay for the Cost of Construction, Flood Protection, Lake Tourism, Irrigation in Nepal & India, Bangladesh, Clean Pollution Free Drinking supply were to be additional benefits.'
