Astrology is considerate to second marriage, where there is no need to check pouthams. So even gothrad may not be a problem. My contention is if this is insisted, it be better to seek parents gothra especially for a useless young widoer.Our great masters and Gurus are magnanimous, but it is later interpreters who confused things. My further suggestion is yo pray for guidance and do after that, no harm will if the process of selecton is done. God is divinity endhrined smd for each act there is a purpose, which we may not gauge at first sight but will dawn later.

Obviously they should accept her GOTHRA of her own parents, as it is she is going to start her NEW PHASE OF LIFE, and we must consider her NEW LIFE PARTNER'S Gothra too, which will be followed by their future ISSUES in their life ( THEIR KIDS ).

Recently we have received a serious enquiry on the following and awaits logical answers from experienced seniors and educated persons.
Parents of a young issue-less widow (educated professional and owns a flat, self-sufficient with no encumbrances) is looking for a widower/divorcee who likes to re- marry and likes to accept this young widow and live together initially in Chennai City. 
Please advise Which Gotha the parents to follow
a) The Girls parent's Gothra or
b) The Girls Ex-husnad's (Father-in-Laws) Gothra
Awaiting suggestions/advise from all well wishers, at the earliest
