I found the photo that my friend, Oscar Campderrós, drawn on a two meters canvas, among the pages of the latest work of the artist: Dior Couture (Ed. Rizzoli).
This french settled in New York for more than three decades, captures in a book one of the first retrospectives of Haute Couture, through the history of the fashion house Christian Dior.
Demarchelier has collected over 150 photographs of clothes designed by Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan and John Galliano between 1947 and 2011. A work of art that immerses us in the history of La Maison, and tells us the evolution of Haute Couture. "This book sublimates a perfect marriage between Haute Couture and photography", Jeff Koons dixit. And I agree.
