As per Hindu Religion, there are four Navratris in a year. But people most people only know about two Navratris Chaitra and Shardiya. But the
Navratri that falls in the Ashadh and Maadh months is known as Gupt
Navratri.
This Gupt Navratri has begun today i.e. January 31 and will continue up to February 8.

On the First day of Gupt Navratri, Goddess Shailputri is worshipped. Goddess Shailputri is said to be the goddess of luck. To be courageous and stable in life, people pray to this goddess on day one of Gupt Navratri.
The goddess is the daughter of the Himalayas and women after praying this goddess get good health and good luck.
Goddess Brahmacharini is worshipped on day two (Feb 1) of Gupt Navratri. This goddess gives strength and helps people in getting all their work done. This goddess teaches us to be successful
through hard work and that without hard work success is not possible.
Goddess Chandraghanta is worshipped on day three (Feb 2) of Gupt Navratri. The goddess has a half moon on her forehead, which is why she is called Chandraghanta
Devi. During her fight with the devils, the devils had died after
getting hit by the half moon on the goddesss forehead.
This goddess gives strength to people, which makes them strong enough to fight and conquer the world.
Goddess Kushmanda is worshipped on day four (Feb 3) of Gupt Navratri. This goddess cures people of all their illness. People who worship this goddess get good health along with money and
happiness.
Goddess Sakandmata is worshipped on day five (Feb 4) of Gupt Navratri. The goddess is a symbol of peace and happiness.
Goddess Katyayani is worshipped on day six (Feb 5) of Gupt Navratri. Worshipping this goddess gives people peace of mind and they dont fear anything in the world.
Goddess Kaalratri is worshipped on day seven (Feb 6) of Gupt Navratri. Worshipping this goddess makes people get rid of all kind of fears and gives people the courage to fight their enemies.
Goddess Mahagauri is worshipped on day eight (Feb 7) of Gupt Navratri. The coulour of this goddess is fair, which is why the name Mahagauri. This goddess gives people success and happiness in
life.
Goddess Siddhidatri is worshipped on the last day of (Feb 8) of Gupt Navratri. This goddess is the symbol of knowledge and after worshipping this god, people are blessed with intelligent mind.
