 Brazilian label, Cantão, exhibited their 2014 Summer Womens Runway Collection during Fashion Rio at Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Vibrant colors and prints dominated the catwalk. Jeanswear garments made a splash with outerwear jackets, one piece shirtall romper combishorts, flowing maxi dresses, minimalistic skirts and Western fringed tank tops. Denim treatments seen were darker indigo washes, retro ombre style acid wash bleached gradient fade and multi-paneled embellished fabrics especially on the shoulders. Notable ensemble style pieces and accessories included fringed gladiator beach sandals, large ruffled bucket hats, fresh foliage print one piece jumpsuit and colorful tapered trousers. From the presentation, we selected only the top looks and our favorite pieces.    |
