Shahad is the next station to Kalyan on Central Railway route. You can catch any local train going to Titwala, Asangaon or Kasara from Mumbai to reach Shahad ( Frequency from 10 minutes peak time to 30 minutes in the afternoon ) .Get down at station go near the bridge where you will get share Rickshaw to go to this temple. They charge just Rs.5.00 per head to reach there.
We can photograph the entire temple, but inside the temple it is strictly prohibited. In the temple are beautiful Idols of Vithoba,Rukmini , Laxmi, Narayan lord Ganesha. The atmosphere inside the temple around it is the most peaceful. Just sitting in the temple will give you inner peace.
All said done you can spend about 30 min to 60 min at the temple. The best time to visit the place is in the morning or in the evening.This is one of the most beautiful temples I have visited around Mumbai. So next time you have some spare time please do visit this temple.
