[www.keralites.net] IMPORTANT TO KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WARNING

REPASSING!

We know what to do when we break these lamps? then see the prompt:

Notice of the British Ministry of Health ...

Warning lamps for low power consumption. If something breaks, we must follow the instructions of the British health ministry, which I transmit to avoid the serious damage caused by mercury to your health and especially to the environment:

(ALL MODELS BELOW)

These types of lamps that are called low-energy light bulbs are dangerous when they break! In case of accidental breakage everyone will have to leave the room / bedroom, at least by 30 minutes due to toxic fumes that spread of Mercury for the environment!

These mini bulbs contain mercury (poison) that causes headaches, disorientation, imbalance and various other health problems when inhaled.

In people with allergies, cause skin problems and other serious diseases if it is touched and / or inhaled.

In addition, the health ministry has warned the British not to use vacuum cleaner to collect the remains of the broken bulb, as contamination (mercury) will spread elsewhere in the house as you are using the vacuum cleaner again.

How to collect / drop the pieces of the lamp:

1) If you have at home a disposable mask (those used to protect the H1N1 flu virus), use it to avoid inhaling the vapor of Mercury.

2) Use a rubber glove to carefully pick up the pieces of the broken lamp, including what's left of it.

3) Place the pieces / scraps from the lamp on a cloth / old cloth (never use newspaper) and wrapping, and place (the cloth with the pieces) into

a plastic bag. Tie the mouth of the bag.

4) Discard the plastic bag (with waste lamp) in a suitable place for disposal of batteries or battery cell pools (some stores such as Leroy Merlin have this service).

5) Pass on this information
Warning: Mercury is more poisonous than lead or arsenic!
