Job Title: IP Engineer//E

Functional Role: MS BO Core

Skill Set: Senior

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Duration: 12 months extendable

 

 

Objective of the job:

The objective of this job is to provide O&M system support in relevant competence area and to ensure a timely resolution of Trouble Tickets and Change Requests.

 

Responsibilities:

The Service Engineer is responsible to his manager for ensuring that all assigned O&M tasks are fulfilled in time with the highest quality standards in accordance with WLA and SLA.

 

The candidate is expected to have at least minimum 4-6 years solid background and experience on IP Nodes network Ericsson product portfolio, which may include following:

 

Mandatory (Essentials, A Must):

• Very good experience in IP networking / protocols.
• Advanced knowledge of Smart Edge Networks routing platforms.
• Working experience of Cisco/Juniper/Smart Edge and SE for network monitoring and management.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills of complex networks.
• Excellent knowledge of IP/MPLS, M-BGP and RSVP.
• Strong telecom background.
• Knowledge of SIGTRAN.
• On hand experience of working on FW, routers and switches.
• Knowledge of switching and VLAN configurations preferably work Experience on Extreme Networks switches.
• Understands transmission networks.
• O&M Routine maintenance (both preventive and corrective) for SE Nodes
• Coordination and Liaising with all concerned stake holders
• Internal and external escalations as required
• Familiar with System Acceptance Testing: Ensure functionality of all test cases, and troubleshoot and isolate any faults encountered

 

Education and Experience:

• Vendor or Operator certified candidate who already participated in official trainings courses.
• Degree within Electrical Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering/Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Operation & Maintenance implementation / integration / operation / support.
