Nguyen Duy Hai, 31, a Vietnamese man with a 90-kilogram tumour, lies on a hospital bed next to his mother at FV hospital (France-Vietnam hospital) in Ho Chi Minh City. He is undergoing surgery to have the tumour removed from his right leg. Hai is expected to be in surgery for around ten hours as a team of doctors work to cut away the growth in a risky procedure that has only a 50 percent success rate, the hospital said.
