Hi friends,
It is unfortunate that we, the gulf keralites still consider Air India as a travel option. Why dont we decide to boycot this air lines. have we ever got a better treatment from this airlines? When Vayalar ravi has taken charge of the aviation ministry many people has expected some changes. These are the changes we are seeing - from bad to worse or from worse to worst! We have gorgotten that he is a pioneer in outsourcing the services. as a Pravasi minister he has out sourced the passport services and he got his share. Instead of making it as an option, he made every pravasi to pay the agents for getting any passport service. That is the achievement we got out of him!
Now we have to assume that he has started to serve us as an aviation minister also; this news is proof of that. It is nothing but unjust that he is not doing anything to solve the agony of the pravasis who lost their dear ones in the Mangalpuram tragedy. It is a truth that no one in our country consider the Gulf pravasis as "Pravasi". In their definition it is only the affluent few in gulf and those who are living in America & Europe. So always they provide them the best & the worst for us.
In kerala, the relatives of those who die by drinking illicit liquour or getting killed in communal riots  or get killed by police torture get a compenstion upto 10 lakhs. If an unfortunate pravasi dies after reaching here mortgaging even the mangalsutra of his wife, is he considered for any compensation? Our politicians have no shame to come & ask for donations & votes. So many organisations, political as well as well as non- political, offer the politicians fecilitations here  at the cost of common pravasi to achieve their vested interests. It is shame. We should boycot not only Air India but  these leaders also.

Hi, Hello,

Why do you travel Air India risking your life.  You travel Jet, Kingfisher, Air Arabia, Bahrain Air,
Gulfair, Emirates,Etihad, Omanair.  You have plenty of options.  Even otherwise Keralites have
always thought Air India treated them as second class citizens.   Isn't it good for Keralites?  They
can travel very well on other carriers and ask Govt. to close down Airindia.
