Looking for an experienced Sales Trainer on the payroll to train/coach/mentor Sales and Technical members of a mid-sized software company in Bangalore. 

Job Description:

Position Name / Designation: Sales Trainer Coach

Position summary:

 The Sales Trainer is a key person who will be handling the entire sales customer service training process, primarily of the front-line sales support team members.

 The Sales Trainer will be responsible for creating and delivering sales training programs and individual coaching sessions on campaigns nationwide. In this role, the trainer will be expected to travel on need basis and will be based out of Bangalore when not on the road.

 Reports into Sales Head

Sales Trainer Responsibilities:

 Plan, organize, and deliver comprehensive sales and customer service training programs.

 Coordinate with sales leaders, training personnel, and employees to develop effective training systems.

 Seek feedback and communicate with partners, peers, and management.

 Develop online LMS development tools, reference materials, and course work.

 Develop in-house certification programs, rewards, and recognition programs

 Monitor training effectiveness and assess performance, trends, and skill gaps to ensure training objectives are satisfied.

 Conduct assessments of individuals teams across different groups on weekly / fortnightly / monthly basis across all centres

 Evaluate progress of training through pre-post assessments, created in tandem with sales head

 Create coaching plan conduct coaching on 1-1 as well as focus group basis

 Ensure timely completion of the prescribed content across all the centres. 

 Maintain and update MIS in coordination with sales head

 Prepare and submit the following: weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly reports using the standard desired reporting formats. 

Job Eligibility

 Education: 

o Relevant Bachelor / Masters Degree with experience in imparting skill trainings

 Experience: 

o 10 years or above in a sales role (preferably field sales, B2B sales; B2C sales)

o 4 to 6 years in a training role, with sales, customer service communication skills as core focus areas

 Knowledge and Skills: 

o Good and effective communication skills having fluency in English (written spoken)

o Demonstrable sales skills, coaching skills training skills

o Fluency in spoken Kannada, Hindi South Indian languages will be an advantage

o Excellent Computer Skills (MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

o Good counseling and motivational abilities
