One devotee had Periyava's darshan in Maha Ganapathi temple which was located on a hilltop near Secunderabad. Periyava blessed him with a picture of Tirupati Balaji and another picture of Himself. The devotee was flush with happiness. Periyava requested the devotee to get the pictures enlarged and framed in a studio in Madras.
Two days later, the devotee got a shocking news that the Studio was engulfed with fire and that everything got burnt! He rushed to the studio. The proprietor of the studio told this devotee: "Sir, please do not worry! Both the pictures of Balaji and Periyava are secure, the fire did not damage them at all!"
Miraculous!
Joyed, he collected both the framed pictures and went by car with his friend to have darshan of Periyava, Who was camping in Karvet Nagar. On the way they stopped at a Ganesh temple, when they were met by a Matam Kaingaryam person who had come there in search of them! The Matam person told them, "Periyava has asked me to immediately bring the two persons who were coming by car, carrying the pictures!"
"What! That Maha Prabhu is waiting eagerly to meet mere common people like us?", exulted the Devotee!
When they had His darshan, Periyava put flowers on the two pictures with His two hands and blessed them!
The same devotee once had been to Thirukkadaiyur with his friend. Abhishekam to Amruthaghadeshwar was going on that time at the temple. While he was enjoying the proceedings, this devotee had a rare, blissful scene! Atop the Lingam in the Sanctum Santorum, He saw Periyava appear with the face of the Full Moon and in a blessing posture of His hands! The devotee felt that that Vision could have been an illusion due to his intense bhakthi for Periyava.
But at the same time, his friend tapped him on the shoulder and said: "Look inside! Can you see Periyava! What a blessing! Shankara! Shankara!"
Tears rolled down the face of the devotee!
