[www.keralites.net] 5 Proposal Tips to Make it Special

Are you thinking about popping the big question, but don't know how to make it special? The entire process can be nerve-wracking, even for the most laid back. But trying to think of ways that will make your one-and-only swoon more than ever, that's the part that can be exceptionally challenging.

Never fear, though, we've got some tips for you. Follow these ideas and your proposal will be something your honey will never forget.

1. The Ring

Acquiring the right engagement ring cannot be stressed enough. Not only is it a tangible representation of your relationship, but this piece of jewelry is an item she will hopefully cherish for the rest of her life. That's why we highly recommend, above all else, if you don't know the exact style of ring your significant other wants, go with an exceptional single diamond set in a simple solitaire setting. The reason, the diamond is your biggest investment, and you can't go wrong putting your money there. The best part about presenting the gorgeous diamond this way is that it allows for her to pick out the setting of her style, if she wishes for something more. Going this route allows her to get exactly what she loves and makes you the biggest hero there could be!

Pro Tip- Make waiting to change into the new setting the perfect first anniversary gift, delivering extra special meaning after the excitement of the wedding has long passed.

2. Set the Scene

All couples have that special place that means something to them. For some, it might be a fancy restaurant where you shared your first kiss. For others, a hand-made dinner at home will be the emotional tug that gets her swooning. Try adding romantic décor elements and pick a color palette, for example this gorgeous  Keurig K200 Imperial Red Brewer matches perfectly with this red berry cake. The brewer is available in a wide range of colors to fit any proposal scene.

A simple touch like this will allow you to serve up a special after dinner coffee, made just her way, putting her at ease for the most perfect proposal to come! Whether you're at home or away, popping the question somewhere that has special meaning to you is a definite must.

3. Make It a Surprise

Surprising her may sound like a no-brainer, but it can't be stressed enough. Even if the two of you have been talking about getting hitched for a while, be sure to pick a moment when she'll be utterly surprised. With some women, this may be difficult as many of us have super sensitive radar and can sense when something is afoot. My tip for this, simply do your best to pretend like it's any normal day and she won't have a clue until you drop to one knee.

4. Make It Special For The Two of You

You may hear people say proposals need to be extravagant to be memorable, like popping the question while sky-diving or hot-air-ballooning. But big isn't always better. With a marriage proposal, tying in an emotional element is what will make the most unforgettable impact.

For example, if you and your sweetie met in a coffee house, or share a deep love of coffee, why not make that the heartbeat of your proposal? After dinner, you can each fix yourselves your favorite Green Mountain Coffee® beverage, using your Keurig brewer. Perhaps Breakfast Blend if you're planning a coffee-in-bed, morning proposal? Or Dark Magic if proposing by candlelight? The ease and convenience of making your coffee at the touch of a button will also help take the stress out of the evening.

The key here is an element of magic! Unknown to her, you've written "Will you marry me?" in permanent black ink at the inside bottom of her coffee cup. Connecting coffee with your question will stir in memories of how you met and make your proposal rich with thoughtfulness and romance. As she slowly sips her evening coffee, the proposal will reveal itself. The result, the ultimate surprise proposal in a setting she feels wonderful in, in a way she never expected, all tied together with special meaning!

5. Document It

With all this thinking and planning, it would be a shame not to preserve this fantastic proposal you've cooked up. If it's appropriate, meaning if you can capture your special moment while still having your privacy, consider hiring a professional photographer or videographer to document your moment. Not only will the recorded moment be something fun to relive down-the-line, but if you make it a complete surprise, you could give her a framed picture of your proposal as a wedding gift. How sweet is that?

The bottom line is if you use any or all of these tips, your proposal will be certain to take her breath away!
