Making a car is no cakewalk. What will it look like? How big will it be? What kind of engines will power it? These are some of the questions that car makers need to answer before making one. And building a concept car to refine it into the final product is usually the way to go. Here are some concept cars from the Auto Expo that point to the future of Indian roads.

1. Audi Prologue A two door coupe design study that shows what future Audi sedans will look like. It is powered by a high output V8 engine to give it the go to match the show.

2. Chevrolet Beat Activ Small SUVs are the rage at the Auto Expo. The Active points to a future small SUV and the next generation Beat small car.

3. Datsun Go Cross The Go+ seven seater will give rise to an SUV with seven seats, priced up from Rs 5 lakh! We sure hope it looks like this concept.

4. Hyundai HND-14 A butch looking SUV that will be under 4 meters in length and compete with the Vitara Brezza.

5. Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo Concept shows the crowd that Hyundai can also make sports cars. Surprisingly, it is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell system.

6. Renault Climber A butch looking version of the Kwid, the Climber looks very close to production ready. Hopefully, Renault will give it the green light.
