London: Lola is officially the world's most pampered pet. The miniature Yorkshire terrier has beaten a coddled cat, a demanding donkey and even an alligator to win the international honour. Lola has a shampoo and set, Reiki sessions and a massage each week and recently woofed down a pounds 100 wedding breakfast at her owner Louise Harris' nuptials. Along with her younger brother Larry and sisters Lulu and Lolly, the pooch has had pounds 250,000 splashed out on her. Each morning Louise, 34, cooks them breakfast of scrambled egg and ham, which she feeds them by hand. I have fresh food delivered for them every two days and it costs pounds 300 a month.

Washington: An encyclopedia of one of the world's major religions, Hinduism, will be unveiled next week in South Carolina. The 11-volume work covers Hindu spiritual beliefs, practices and philosophy and is the culmination of a 25-year academic. According to the Washing Times, the encyclopedia is written in English and includes about 7,000 articles in Hinduism and its practices.
