Q: Why is potato blushing?
A: Because it saw salad dressing!

A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales. The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though a whale is a very large mammal, its throat is very small. The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale. The teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human, it was impossible.
The little girl said, "When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah."
The teacher asked, "What if Jonah went to hell?"
The little girl replied, "Then you ask him!"

Man to wife: "I have a confession to make. When we spoke our wedding vows, I said, 'eye dew'.:

Fact of the matter.
Killing a dolphin in ancient Greece was considered sacrilegious and was punishable by death. The Greeks called them hieros ichthys 'sacred fish', and the sun god, Apollo, assumed the form of a dolphin when he founded his oracle at Delphi at Mount Parnassus.

Weird world…
Mom took her daughter's exam..
Recently a 52-year-old French lady was caught by authorities, where she was trying to take her 19-year-old daughter's exam. She apparently wore heavy makeup inhere disguise. The lady now faces the threat of a possible three-year imprisonment or heavy fine.

Wolf urine, lion's roar keep deer from Japan transport..
Transport operators in northern Japan are sprinkling wolf urine near roads and broadcasting the roar of lions near train tracks in a bid to keep deer away and reduce accidents.

Men sells coffin – with a surprise skeleton inside!

Tongue very much in cheek…
Coming generation will learn equality from poverty, and love from woes.
(Me: Yep, the first part is very true in the Third World countries when most, if not all, of the people living here will have become poor…!)
**
From the world of science…
Citrus fruits may provide novel cancer cure…
Modified citrus pectin – developed from the skin of citrus fruits – could act as a potent anti-cancer therapy. It has also been shown to induce apoptosis (programmed cell death) in cancer cells.
**
Vampire bats may lead to novel drug…
Vampire bat venom could hold the key to new treatments for stroke and high blood pressure. An international team of scientists led by University of Queensland's Bryan Fry has discovered that vampire bat venom contains molecules capable of evading the immune system.
**
Eating on time keeps your blood sugar stable, and hunger headaches and fatigue at bay.
**
According to ayurveda, ghee promotes learning and increased memory retention.
(Me: ghee isn't such a devil as it is painted to be, if consumed in moderation.)
**
The news doing the rounds for the past week…
**
Amount of exercise matters, not frequency…
Scientists have found that it is the total amount of exercise you get in a week that matters and no whether you spread your workout over several days or few.
Uttarkant tragedy toll mounts..
(Me: Everyone is blaming the governments. However, no one is questioning why millions of people – put at 15 million in contrast to the state's own population of 10 million – take the pilgrimage trek to the Kedarnath shrine knowing full well where millions gather for pilgrimage, mela or whatever, the toll arising from even a minor stampede, let alone massive other natural calamities like torrential rains or landslides arising therefrom, is likely to be very high. And the Gods whom they worship and venerate seldom come to their succor or rescue!)
