I happened to live in Cambodia and in Liberia, in early nineties after the two countries were destroyed in civil wars. Every sign of civilization was destroyed but the warring factions left their beer factories untouched and "Angor" beer was available in Cambodia and another brand of beer, name I forget, was available in Liberia. This shows the importance of beer in human lives.
