Dear jayakrishnan,
 
I am a Muslim by birth and I had been to Vatican as a part of our European leisure trip. It's a lifetime experience to watch pope from a hands distance. One of my Christian friend arranged me for the easy view of pope. No restrictions, no hindrance with respect to religion, caste or creed.

People visit Vatican not only as a pilgrimage, but also to see, study, research and enjoy the huge amount of Renaissance artworks in St. Peter's basilica and Sistine chapel.
