GIRIVIHAR Cancer Hospital Complex was inaugurated on 11 February 2008, in the presence of PARAM PUJYA ACHARYA SHRI HEM PRABH SURISWARJI MAHARAJ SAHEB, SHRI RASIKLAL MANEKCHAND DHARIWAL of MANIKCHAND Group, SHRI SHRENIKBHAI of LALBHAI Group, SHRI GAFOORBHAI BILAKHIYA of Hindustan Ink, SHRI BABUBHAI SANGHAVI (a well-known Diamond Merchant of Mumbai, M/s K.P. Sanghavi) and other respectable personalities from different fields of life. About 10,000 persons from all over India and abroad participated in this inauguration ceremony.
GIRIVIHAR Cancer Hospital is not only a Hospital but a huge complex comprising of GAUSHALA, JINALAY, BHOJANSHALA, and UPASHRAYA. It also has an inhouse Pharmacy Laboratory and retail outlet for sale of Medicines based on Naturopathy and various books on Naturopathy.
GIRIVIHAR Cancer Hospital is run and managed by GIRIVIHAR TRUST which runs numerous other activities like GAUSHALA, JAIN DERASAR, BHOJANSHALA, HOSPITAL, DHARAMSHALA at PALITANA and Jain Temples at AHMEDABAD (OGNAJ) and BHOPAL.
