Dear All,,

Grapefruit / Chakotra / Jeruk Bali / Pomelo / Dabbakaya are all same.  It is called "Bablimas" in Tamil. In Hindi this is called "Chakotra"

Not very sure how it is called in Malayalam.  It looks "Babloos naaranga" in Malayalam is logically correct.

What is called in Kerala as  "babloos naaranga"  is "grape fruit" only !   In western countries and gulf, the fruit comes in slighly smaller size  and with little darker colour.. thats all the difference..
I have tasted both and are the same..no doubt and no room for debates..
gud day to all !
