I like kalapana singing along with the performances. Hat off to her breathless singings with variations especially in crucial times . Appreciate her self confidence . As per me she is far better than any other contestant. I believe Mr M G Sreekumar wanted Ms Mrudhula to be be winner of Season 5.  These partialily was very much clear during the final rounds.  May be Mr Yesudas also knew about these things.  This may be the reason to say publicly Mr Yesudas to say about Ms Kalpana's capabilities before announcing the winner.  At the end even if Kalapana lose  Mr Yesudas words only enough to Ms Kalpana to grow further. Wishing all the best for all the contestant.

I do not know why so many people against Kalpana. 1. Just because of one negative performance she cannot be thrown out. Terminations is done on the termination round and not any time they feel. Yes, if she herself with-draw from contesting it has to be accepted. 2. Her age is within the limit mentioned by 'Season 5' regulations. 3. She was admired by all including Yesu Das (Singers all over the world has accepted him).

 

I think many are anti Kalpana because a) She is married and has a child b) She looks like a mother and not slim and charming to youngsters. c) She is from Tamilnadu. d) less SMS.

 

I feel, with all the above negative points, her dedication to the singing took her to the top. If she was not given the Price, 90% of the viewer's should have been against that decision.  Better ignore the 10% who criticise.
