[www.keralites.net] 7 Signs You're One of Those Who Easily Forgives and Forgets!

7 Signs You're One of Those Who Easily Forgives and Forgets!

We all have our past –filled with its share of good, bad and the difficult to forget memories.

In most cases, if one were to forget those aforementioned memories (or at least let them become as irrelevant as they possible could), one would have to be someone who easily forgives and forgets.

As we mature, we realize that forgiveness is the first step towards healing ourselves and when we forgive someone for the hurt they put us through, we open ourselves to bigger and better things in life.

After all, it's not for nothing that forgiveness is considered to be a trait of the strong.

So, all you brave little hearts, here are 7 signs that show that you are a person who easily forgives and forgets, a virtue that more people could do with and make the world a happier place:

1. You still choose to remember the best of them.

No matter how abruptly or painfully things ended with someone you have previously loved (a boyfriend/girlfriend, a friend or even a family member), you still remember the best of them and fondly recall all the positive memories you have with them.

2. You don't let your past come in the way of your present and future.

You don't let the bitter experiences of your past come in the way of your present or future relationships.

You are mature enough to understand that everyone comes with their own baggage and it's wrong to burden the beautiful people in our lives with our baggage of fear and disappointment.

3. You don't mull over the fights that happened in the past.

You are definitely not the one to bring up the fights or arguments of the past. Instead, you are gracious enough to let go of what happened and start building on a happier and peaceful future.

4. You believe in the principle of live and let live.

You realize that you really have no control over the behavior of others or their karma, so why punish yourself for the wrong done by them? Instead, you're someone who moves over their painful past and opens themselves up to the better and bigger things in life.

5. You always choose peace over conflict.

You are intelligent enough to understand that cribbing and arguing aren't really of much help as they appear to be. Instead, it's better to walk away from painful situations and maybe give them some time, for things might just get normal on their own?

6. You believe in the principle of "Life is too short for the drama."

You are truly someone who loves life, for you are not willing to waste your precious time on people/ situations that drain you. So, you choose to let the drama pass on, while you focus on the better and brighter things life has to offer.

7. You understand that every person has a shelf life in your life.

You understand that you meet people for a reason - they are either a blessing or a lesson. You are not willing to suffer, for you understand that everyone here is to play a part. And as soon as their part gets over, they'll make an exit, which could be either painful or pleasant.

[www.keralites.net] Change for Success!

Change for Success!

One of my favorite books of all time is "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" by Dr. Stephen R. Covey. Dr. Covey's book takes times before fully grasping what he is talking about but once you do, you will be fully awakened into a world of success.

One of the first topics that he covers in his books is paradigms. if you want to make small changes in your life, change your ways. But if you want to make big change your paradigms. people can look at the same thing and all see different things. The reason for this is that we all see the world through a different paradigm.

People who preserve their health by eating the right foods and exercising see their health through a different paradigm than those who do not. The funny thing is that many people who do not preserve their health actually simply cannot because their paradigms won't allow them to.

The same goes for wealth. Most people have big dreams but they still wind up just for work for a monthly paycheck for the rest of their lives.

You also see people that seem to do almost nothing and wind up rich. Is luck a factor? This happens because the paradigms that wealthy people see the world versus the poor people see the world through.

The sad fact is that no matter how many programs, tapes, cd's, courses, videos, affirmations, goal setting techniques, time management resources you use, if your paradigm is not set for success and building wealth, you will never achieve it.

People should use to change their paradigms for success.

[www.keralites.net] Make Your Own Natural Decongestant in 3 Steps

How to Make a Natural Decongestant

When you're sick with a cold, flu or sinusitis, you will often find yourself full of phlegm and suffering with a stuffy nose. But these seemingly unpleasant symptoms are actually helping you fight the illness, because your body produces more mucus to increase your levels of antiseptic enzymes and antibodies. The gushing nose also helps flush out germs, while simultaneously making it difficult for other bacteria to enter. But when this happens, your nasal passages are likely to become inflamed and your chest will usually feel congested.

Fun & Info @ Keralites.net

While it's great that your body fights the virus, it's still an uncomfortable situation and you will be grateful of some relief. A decongestant can help thin out the mucus and reduce its production, while an expectorant can loosen the phlegm and help you cough it out. Although you can buy decongestants and expectorants at the pharmacy, they're often loaded with other ingredients that can make you drowsy. Here is a recipe for a natural decongestant and expectorant to save your day (and night).

This recipe is made using cayenne pepper, honey and ginger, all recognized expectorants that can loosen phlegm and mucus, so you can expel it from your body more easily. For decongestion, the capsaicin in cayenne pepper (the component that makes it spicy) helps relieve the swelling and inflammation that narrows your nasal passages. Apple cider vinegar and lemon are also added to the mixture because of their decongestant properties. Apple cider vinegar serves to thin the mucus that's secreted, allowing for congested areas to be drained; while lemon juice is also known to help with congestion, and it also gives the mixture a more pleasant taste.

Fun & Info @ Keralites.net

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Pour the lemon juice and apple cider vinegar in a pot and bring it to a simmer.
  2. Stir in the honey, cayenne pepper and ginger.
  3. Pour the contents into a jar and store in a cool, dry place.

Fun & Info @ Keralites.net

Dosage

Adults can take 1 or 2 tablespoons daily, as needed. Shake the jar well before using.

Tip: Warming the mixture can be a pleasant way to consume this tonic.
