[www.keralites.net] Re: [TheBecoming] HOW THE WEST IS STEALING HINDU VEDIC YOGIC CONCEPTS

We have adopted almost 100% of our science and technology from the West and now you boast that they have stolen our yoga technique.
Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala in Kerala is one of the best proponents of Ayurveda. However they are not permitted to hawk their quackery in the West since their medicines do not measure up to the stringent standards in the West. Instead like you Kottakkal makes outlandish claims about their 5000 year old technology without any evidence to prove it.
In Hong Kong I saw shops selling Chinese indigenous medicines. These shops are decked up like Jewelry shops in India at Great expense. China also has a medical tradition which perhaps surpasses India's. They also have adherents in the West. Their Ginseng is far more accepted than our Aswagandha for the same purpose.
You are like a frog in the well aware only of your own heritage and accomplishments. There are dozens of civilizations in the world which match or even outdo our accomplishments of the past. Like other ancient remedies in other parts of the world we also have remedies like the cowdung and urine therapies which is a huge shame on India.
As for yoga it has only as much or less acceptance as acupuncture of china both of which belong to the realm of quackery as far as modern medicine is concerned.
There are procedures and protocols for proving the effectiveness of the various medical practices. But practitioners of Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Yoga, Accupuncure refuse to undergo these procedures. Instead they brag and brag about what they are capable of doing. Yes that is the difference between the orient and the occident.
We boast all the time about what we are capable of doing whereas the West is in a position to boast about what they have done.

HOW THE WEST STEALING HINDU VEDIC YOGIC CONCEPTS  AND RENAME THEM

SHOULD INDIA PATENT ALL YOGIC ASANAS,  AYURVEDA, UNANI, NATURAL REMIDIES, INDIAN ASTRONOMICAL ASTROLOGICAL DATAS INCLUDE THE YUGAS?

Anilom-Vilom, is a well-known Pranayama Technique (including the finger positioning) is now called  Cardiac Coherence Breathing?

It is a fancy name doesn't legitimize the fact that it is being ripped off without crediting the Indian Yogic Vedic tradition a money making

Plagiarizing Hindu practices and passing it off with gimmicky, scientific names, and even patenting it, is nothing new to US & Europe.

They've done it since the time they made contact with India.

This won't change. We will have to actively push back.

Just as 'Dhyana' meditation became 'Mindfulness',

Ayurveda became 'Alternative Medicine',

Don't be surprised if the west pass off Namaste ==Anjali Mudra as their own invention, after the Covid 19 as  'No-Handshake' protocol.

I was hopeful Western Academia took citations seriously (Scientific American is an esteemed Journal) guess it only applies to their internal dealings.

Anyway, the Western world always thief.

The results of thievery ingratitude never bear fruit. TIME FOR WE TO TELL THE WEST THIS.
